SIAP — Thank You Josh Pate

I get the logic for canceling since it clearly means nothing but that’s the opposite of what this program stands for.

If that is what ND and the SEC/Big 10 want to do… go for it.

I’d rather go up there and kick their *** again and prove that H2H means something. This time, make the scoreboard reflect what actually played out on the field. Now they can hang their hat on 3 points, when it was much more decisive than a 3 point win.
Any time, any place, any where.

Ah man, I'm getting a really bad feeling about the ZEBRAS in this game. Hope we are not being set up, but while I'm glad these folks are shouting from the rooftops like we are on this board, we are ****ing alot of people off. People that have actual connections to the folks in position to push this game one way or the other.
Its a concern. I think acc refs too incompetent to do a conspiracy though. Am more worried if the Big12-cg is close in the 2nd half that TTU lays down so they get 2 bids.

Not to mention I have a site visit planned for one of my company’s 3rd party storage locations up in Hammond, Indiana and I told them that i will know the date when ND and Miami finalize the date of that game because I'm coordinating it and going on the company dime.

Cant cancel it for that reason lol

The greatest argument Miami will have is the 5 common games they've played:

Head to Head - Miami
NC State - Miami (41-7) vs Notre Dame (36-7)
Syracuse - Notre Dame (77-7) vs Miami (38-10)
Pitt - Notre Dame (37-15) vs Miami (?)
Stanford - Miami (42-7) vs Notre Dame (?)

If Miami has a similar showing against Pitt and Notre Dame has a similar showing against Stanford then wtf are we doing here? We played almost half the same schedule, with potentially very similar results, and we beat them head to head. That's it, that's the end of the discussion.

Andy is right except for one thing, we CAN cancel the game against ND next year. Our games this year and next year are not part of the rotating 5 ACC games that ND plays.

If we win out and miss the playoffs, Miami should at least threaten to cancel behind closed doors. Make ND up the price for us to keep the game considering the opportunity cost of giving them a “good loss” this year.

The dude is in the trenches fighting the good fight.

Listen to the first 9 minutes of this:

We've had other talking heads in our corner in the past only for our guys to fold on the field. Fair or not, until proven otherwise, there is a belief among many that this program chokes in big games, especially late and/or in postseason. Add to this the possibility of playing in very cold (for soFla) weather. If our guys show up in frozen tundra gear, ala the Sun Bowl then beware!

How about my option of both Us and USC cancelling it and scheduling each other purely as a **** You move

Would never happen, but can you imagine how much money would be at stake if Miami and ND just said, **** it, there will be downtime, let's just play again before the CFP and settle this **** on the field, yet again. In Mario's meathead voice - LIKE MEN! lol

This Brooks Austin mf is the “SEC schill” ya’ll should be gunning for. Every time I’m on twitter, he has something negative to say about UM.

This

I keep reading all the whining about rankings but these same people forget we have a game to play on the road up north this Saturday.
Oh ****. You're right. I should have been watching film and studying the playbook. GTFOH
