SIAP — Thank You Josh Pate

Usually not a fan of a lot of Ari's takes, but happy that he's fighting the good fight. All the puppets at ESPN are brainwashed and can't make a reasonable argument as to why head to head shouldn't matter now.

I’m glad the media is fighting this injustice but let’s be real - this sport is controlled by the powers that be and they want ND in.

We could beat Pitt 100-0 and they’d still put nd in ahead of us. The committee/ the big10/sec have no integrity - it’s all about creating narratives to put in nd and teams from the 2 aforementioned conferences.

The ACC/Big12 need to protect its teams and pull out of the cfp. Have your own tournament - the sec/big can’t have a national champion without the participation of the other conferences. I would also tell nd to pound sand since they want special treatment.

Maybe. If we truly believe that ESPN is controlling this **** show. Wouldn’t it benefit them to ***** over the non ESPN team?

I doubt that happens. But Miami isn’t SMU or UVA. We may have been dog **** for the better part of two decades. But the Miami brand is still strong. If you subscribe to the thinking ESPN has their best interests in mind, I wouldn’t be shocked to see ND being NBC and non conference playing a role.

Again, I don’t think it will. But it’s not an insane hypothetical imo.

They could let Miami AND Notre Dame in.

But they'd have to drop out an SEC team.

If an SEC team gives them a reason too, they'll take it. The committee is begging for Ole Miss or Bama or OU to lose this weekend.

The committee isn’t begging for anything. They do whatever they feel like doing, not apologize for it, and move on.

I think what he means is, and I agree, it just makes their job easier if everything works itself out naturally. You're not wrong, they're not going to lose sleep over leaving Miami or anyone else out, but you have to work harder if there are 5-6 deserving teams for 2 spots, for example. If there's 12 clear-cut teams, you go in, have a donut and cup of coffee, submit the ranking and go play golf. That's what they're hoping for. Not having to grind over several resumes.

After all these actual decades of agenda-driven hate of Miami, it's finally floated to the surface.
We've been ridiculed like no other program for as long as I can remember, and mocked for being delusional and paranoid. Now, people can see it for themselves.

This is our Rubicon, as OBM said we have to beat Pitt or we're going to drift off into oblivion.

Ok, maybe slightly overdramatic, but you get my point.
