SI Bowl Projections: Miami vs. Alabama

Love the sceanario, but we still got a well coached VT team, and a 4-5 star laden ND to deal with. Think ND will tell us all we need to know on how well we will stack up against Bama or Ga.

I already see how this thing will play out. You can play 6 bum games but get credit for 1 decent victory. Prime example look at OU. They beat Ohio St soundly in the shoe. That's a great victory no doubt. But it was the second week of the season, since then they have lost to Iowa St and been bumbling and fumbling with teams, so that one victory make them legit and struggling with K St etc, is ignored.

If they are undefeated I understand, but they lost where they could not stop Iowa St.

I don't see us blowing anybody out, I just seeing doing enough to win each game. Except for UNC of course. So that's why in another thread I told people we won't get any credit all season, even if we beat VT and ND close

but lets be real man, We got a gauntlet ahead of us... and no bye week. I still think we get to ACC championship for sure, but do we win it? Still unsure.

The drugs these writers take to come up with this stuff. I like it, but **** I need some of that ****.

Sorry, don't share the same negative view you do....and I don't understand the concept of "getting credit". Who are we talking about "getting credit" from? The entire media, others teams fans, etc.

Who cares......all the subjective stuff doesn't matter......because everything that matters is objective and laid out in front of us.

Beat VT, ND(who is getting sucked off by a large portion of the CFB media right now) and we will be ranked in the Top 5 at least.
Beat NC State/Clemson in ACCCG and go 12-0 we will be in the playoff no matter what else happens.

We can be mad that teams like Bama, OSU, OU will be higher in the pecking order if we are talking about a 1-loss season...but you have to earn that.

... seriously. Especially with No. 13 Virginia Tech headed south and No. 9 Notre Dame the week after. Would have to beat both, not blow it against Virginia and Pittsburgh and then top the defending champion, No. 7 Clemson in the ACC title game—which Miami hasn't reached in a dozen tries.

Seems completely plausible sitting here in late-October.

I for one will not be shocked whatsoever if Clemson loses at NC State.

I guess we'll have a really good read on the Wolfpack on Saturday, if they go into South Bend and beat the Irish then look out.

We have a lot of football to play before we start entertaining this stuff, but WTF at those of you who are scared of Bama? If you want to know how far you've come, play the best. And for the records, Wurts wouldn't be able to take near the beating we gave Dungey, even with half the shots. Bring them on.

Name another QB that could... I'll wait.

Dungey took a harder beating than Frenchie last year. Bïtched about it, sure. But he still took the beating.

That's what I'm saying, we have a chance against anybody. People see the name Bama and assume we get rolled up going away. **** no!

So I am watching on ESPN their college playoff show. I'm watching and I'm watching and team Miami was never mentioned. This is why Pinckney was so right about where he was coming from. We are 8th and undefeated and completely completely left out of the conversation.

But they want to keep wisconsin in the mix... GTFOH with that cotton candy *** schedule
