Show yourself if you said we have no talent

Go ahead, make your points again about the lack of talent.

UM might be a top 5 NFL rich team in the country this past season, based on whats going on at these NFL evaluations/camps.

What's going on right now is officially slaying the one fallacious argument UM/Blake/Golden/Slurpers have been making: that the cloud prevented us from landing talent.

It is now officially INARGUABLE, not that those with common sense couldnt tell before. Every comment/email/sign should now be directed towards the death of their last straw argument.

So go ahead, come here and tell us all again how we don't have the talent to compete in the ACC, when we had the talent to compete for the ****ing playoffs.

We may have missed a blue chipper or two from the cloud, but that's it.

The bigger issue has been ignoring kids like Burgess, Moore, etc. while Folden flocks to the Northeast to add more Coal Shovelers.

We had more than enough talent to sleepwalk to a Coastal title last year, but we would have been even more talented had we taken more south Florida ballers with chips on their shoulders.

With a real coach that recruits south Florida and utilizes those players they way he should, we'd kill it in this god-awful conference every season.

We definitely dont have enough talent to sniff the CFB playoff, but we should have made it to the ACC Championship with good coaching.

I thought Last year team was the most talented team Golden has had since he has been here. i thought if we could go 9-4 with that team then surely with more experience. talented players. we could go from 9 win team to an 11 win team easy. i was so wrong. this was supposed to be the year we made a comeback and Golden missed his window to become great. we still have a talented young team but we had a great mixture of both young and experience guys. misuse and horrible play calling cause this team to fail. players Our team also looked very slow. alot of thinking. to much complexity. players also gave up on Golden. they cant get over the hump because he is stubborn. all the talent in the world but terrible coaching.

My argument with that idiot, niner, before the season was that we don't have enough talent to overcome the incompetent leadership.

6-7. I was right.

the 2001 team would go 9-3 with Alfraud the HC. he is just that bad. the defense is pathetic and will never ever win anything playing this ***** *** defense

Is it really surprising that the guys we thought were talented are showing out? Other than Chick, which was most likely misused, all of those other guys were thought to be at the very least "pretty good".

What do you think Golden thinks when he sees these guys balling out now? He's either gotta think they didn't "try hard" for him, or that he didn't use them properly. Either way it shows an incompetent coach and system. ****** ****. Real coach would have taken that team to the top

Of course not, but that they are rising so far above other players is just a testament to the incompetence behind our 6-7 season.

Just because you slap a high priced sticker (i.e., the U) on a piece of **** (Al) does not make that POS into a piece of Gold(en)

My problem under Shannon was seeing the talent diminish, as evidenced by the last several drafts. My problem with Golden is the fact we are losing with a lot of talent. Why the heck can't we get a coach that can A) bring in talent, then B) win with that talent? The talent level is as good as it's been in years, but the results are putrid. The results are putrid because the coaches can't get the most from the talent they have accumulated.

He probably concludes, "Hey look how well I developed these players." It's ridiculous. Has any head coach squandered so much talent - ie done so little with so much?

RS had the most selections in 2010. Most of the guys leaving are RS guys. 07 and 2012 were too completely different situations. Even 07 being our worst had a 1st and 2nd rounder. He had to start over in 08.

Al has been squandering talent since he got here. Look at all the preseason draft grades then look where each player fell. Al should have won at least 11 games in 2011. All he did was mocked those players and threw them under the bus when they departed.

Bright side: this is why Miami will never completely be dead despite the admins lack of support. If we can luck into a good hire, much like the bball team, it wouldn't take a good coach that long to turn this around.

We have had complete incompetence for more then a decade and our rosters still have talent, this one especially.

Correct. And he should have won 11 this year too. Unfortunately, the simp fans followed his lead and continue to trash the players.

Of course we can't win with these players. Golden spends 4 years telling them they are not good enough. The cloud, the cloud. We don't have enough depth, its been so hard with the cloud. Its a process. Of course they have no killer instinct. It seeps in from El Foldo. What you guys except. The only thing he knows to translate is blaming something and someone else and playing the victim.

This is why they say "don't throw rocks if you you live in a glass house". Nobody ever said we don't have some talented players on the team. Point was Alice Grolden is not developing the kids to win games against FBS competition (fact 1). For the talent we do have he's missed on twice that many local top caliber recruits (fact 2). Fact 3!! When these kids get trained and coached up by "real professional coaches" and show what they had all along, DON'T GIVE THAT IDIOT ALICE GROLDEN CREDIT FOR THE JOB THESE COACHES DO IN TWO WEEKS WHAT THAT IDIOT COULDN'T DO IN 4 YEARS. FIRE ALICE GROLDEN!!!

I have thread links saved from the amazing 2013 attacks. Not gonna name names, but ya'll know who you are. Funny guys. They don't post or attack as much these days.

Here's a fun exchange I can link to:

November of 2013

LuCane: We have at least 8 future NFL players in our 2-deep.

Unnamed poster: Lu, you ALWAYS pull out that ridiculous statement. Who are these so called NFL players? Notice that all of those players are either freshman or sophomores and 2 didn't play today?

--------------------------------------------

Fast forward one year and we're looking at maybe 6-8 guys drafted. Multiple guys "dominating" their peers in post-season weeks/games.

i learned something from you that i saw manifested in the conference games last weekend. the importance of aggression. i asked myself why Bellichick would keep Brady and all starters in the game with 5 minutes left in the 4Q when they were blowing out Indy? the game was no longer remotely close. why risk the injury?

seems he needs to keep the foot on the pedal even when they are blowing out the other team so as to not lose the aggression. he needs his team to be teeming with aggression. he's doing something right.

rewind to green bay and seattle. same thing. 19-7 with 5 minutes left and 42 intercepts the ball. he takes a dive, rather than run the ball. GB runs the ball and plays conservative ball rather than perform the coup de grace. result? green bay lost. yes, seattle had a few lucky bounces. however, with aggressive football, those lucky bounces could have been meaningless.

thanks
