NFL Draft SHOW TIME!!! Draft Day 2025

Respect Shannon Dawson

Our 3 best receivers last year are about to go 7th/undrafted, our RB went 7th

Yes we had Ward obviously but imagine how much better the offense would have been with a Jeremiah Smith type receiver

TrumpyCane thinks it shows for all of Dawson warts he’s a **** of an OC

Obvioisly Cam also gets alot of credit
It was mostly Cam,do we even win 5 games without him.No wonder we're paying Beck 4M.

X is an all-time great and one of my favorites. The fact that he is our all-time leading receiver is exactly our problem.

We have not been recruiting or developing skill guys. Trader will hopefully be one of the first of many to break that narrative.

x is the all time w/e bc ppl with skill at WR go to the NFL after 2-3 seasons not stay for your full eligibility.

This can't be a serious post. Ever hear of Eddie Brown Michael Irvin Reggie Wayne Santana Moss Andre Johnson or Lamar Thomas?

THIS can’t be a serious post. WTF?

Talking about dudes from over 20 years ago. Who was the last WR we recruited and developed that are within our current recruits lifetime? I’ll wait…

We were successful we had the number 1 offense in the country.

Dude you said that the fact he is the ALL TIME leading receiver at UM with all those great players is an indictment of the program, makes absolutely NO SENSE. None

Sam Brown went undrafted. He would have definitely benefited by returning to the U for another season. Cam showed these young jits how to enhance your draft stock by being patient and putting in the work. I guess things never change —Young kids make young kid decisions. SMH

Still, I wish SB great success, but the odds are stacked against him

Because it is... You take any of those receivers in today's game and they have 3000+ easily.

What other serious football program had 25+ year old receiving records for 2500 yards?

I love all of those players and they were awesome. The fact that the game has changed to favor offenses and we haven't even come close until a dawg that stayed here for 5 years speaks volumes.

How is it that mother****ing Iowa and Wisconsin, 2 big 10 schools that were randomly chose and not cherry picked, have more receiving yards than our greats?

If you weren't aware both the schools I mention came to my head because those schools are known as 3 yards and a cloud of dust, low scoring, offense is a second thought teams.

I don't understand fully, was Restrepo not recruited and developed into the all time receiver at Miami? He wasn't an elite prospect that was projected to become the all time leading pass catcher at Miami. That can never be taken away what that kid did playing for Miami. I kinda understand your point but development is just as much on the player as it is the coaches. Its a 2 way street. On a side note, Miami hasn't been serious about being good in football since they hired Mario. Maybe they have started getting some elite talent, the draft will tell us in the coming years. Look at the last 15yrs of the NFL draft in the first 4 rounds. Its a ghost town for Miami. Ohio St just had 7 of the top 45 picks I believe.

You just argued my point.
