Him - “Thanks Dad, how many stars did you have in high school”

Me - “I had zero stars too”

Him - “So u need your own advice, why were you never drafted”?

Me :

Stewart Mandel’s twitter post is a joke. Not only are there nearly twice as many Big10 and SEC teams as ACC and Big 12, but NFL GM’s tend to make safe picks in the 1st round, I.E., players that are considered consensus stars and who gets the most TV and ESPN exposure? You guessed it, the SEC and Big10.

Now here’s the irony. Only 46% of NFL 1st round draft picks are ever named All Pro. Less than a coin flip.

Jets are awful historically with second round picks, as much as I'd like Arroyo we mess up his development easily. Last decent TE we had was Dustin Keller lol
