Show me one example of a coach

There’s PLENTY of evidence to justify Manny not returning. The team is winning (barely) in spite of the ineptitude of the staph. No one, and I mean no one, saw TVD performing as he has let alone even playing much.

That being said, with the history of the past 15 years or so, nothing would surprise me at this point.

I think we will end up getting a new AD in early 2022, by that point it will be too late to replace manny. manny will get one last prove it year in 2022 which I think will be similar to goldens last year.

And honestly, I’m not sure if we want to get in on the coaching carousel this year, unless Mario is 110% coming, we will be at best the third most attractive opening, more than likely the fourth.

1. Lsu
2. Usc
3. Florida - SEC
4. Miami
Don't forget a place like Penn State if Franklin flips for LA or Baton Rouge. Hate Penn State but they have a very nice recruiting footprint in the Northeast and also have unlimited resources with a football based Athletic Department.

I still do not see this team winning 6 in a row. The roster is flawed, the coaching does not help at all. It is just such a mediocre team that is winning by the skin of its teeth. If UM was winning games by more than one possession I may fell differently but it just feels like at least 1 of the last 3 will go against us for the very reason that we were 2-4 after 6 games.

The ONLY thing giving me pause is that the next 3 coaches are; Norvell, Fuente and Cutcliffe. The first one was never good and the last 2 teams seem to have given up. So we are likely not at a coaching disadvantage for those games. But as I have been writing for months, anything can happen when mediocre teams play.
If we win 6 coin flips in a row then we're truly cursed.

Hire an athletic director who actually knows athletics, install a true football tsar in charge of all things football, hire an experienced defensive coordinator who is aggressive but doesn't sell out every other play ( offenses are too good to play soft, must pressure the qb but can't leave areas totally uncovered) and can disguise defenses, find a good special teams and a lb coach. Tell Manny he is the spokesman and face of the program to continue bringing in classes like the last 2 but get the f##k out of the way of the real coaches. The tsar makes final decisions on the portal, coaches etc.
Never happen. No college program operates in that way.

I mean, we all know they're going to justify keeping him now, right?

Fully prepared for the "progress" narrative to be spun.

Gonna have to fire the DC and he happens to be the HC so there is that
I told them when Baker left it would be the same defense lol. Everyone acts shocked we still have no DL slow linebackers and Banda left us some talent. Wtf did people expect? I never understood why people thought his same play calling would save us on defense. Dude is trash he blitzes JW0 all the time up the middle everyone knows it.

Maybe best case scenario is a new AD is hired, and he waits a season unless he has a HC ready to come in. Manny's recruiting class will be awful, and may tank with early games at TAMU, maybe early at Clemson. Still two OOC games to be scheduled, I think. although those are probably so-called easy games.

I feel what you’re saying but what kind of message would that send to prospective coaches if the AD fires a guy on a 6-7 game win streak ? If we lose another game though I agree
It means we mean business. We expect players to be coached up to their ability, prepared for an opponent, mentally tough.

If you come out well prepared to play smart football on a regular basis, I can live with losses if it's a talent issue. If we make development once again a core competency, the talent will come.

I know we might not, but there’s a better chance than not it happens.

FSU: bad team and Travis coming off injury and missing game.
VT: just awful
Duke: worst team in ACC

That’s not murders row.

The University of Miami doesn't win bowl games anymore. Fire his *** after we get blown out in the Military Bowl.

Show me one example of a coach winning 6 games in a row to end the season then getting fired.

I’m looking for hope. I’m getting nervous.
Here is one example
