Shoutout to Daylyn Upshaw

Agreed. I was hype about it. Then Pringle sealed the drive with a really tough catch for the TD

Mario should get credit for last years evals and how the freshmen are performing.

The problem is that his first 3 classes were essentially wasted.
This is an overstatement. We are in a new era so dudes are going to leave to play or take a bag. Even some of the guys who left produced a little bit while here like Riley Williams. 2023 class isn’t bad at all and guys like Robert Stafford, Kaleb Spencer, Chris Johnson, Robby Washington are productive yet not indispensable at their new schools.

That’s what’s happening everywhere. A&M’s best WR as at NC State his first two years. Ole Miss’ top rb was at Mizzou last year. As long as we stay proactive in the portal we’re good.

‘24: zaquan patterson is his own worst enemy. Randolph miss. Tbd on the rest but a lot of em have showed flashes/are looking good. Idc how ny carr given his hs production and he was a flip from uga and we needed another wr. Basically did this again w/ the wr from cali in the ‘26 class. Judd Anderson was a miss. Lofton regressed but i wouldn’t consider that a missed evaluation. Jojo looked good out there but CJ Daniels is just better than him.

‘23 had D. Brown, Bain, Pancake, Francis, Fletcher — getting dudes like these help us get blue chips down the line. Popo is a contributor

In ‘22, Skinner and Chris Graves both are contributors on UL & Ole Miss. Horton and Young both caught touchdowns in the UGA-Bama, Wesley starts for us. Moten is a major part of the dline. Matthew Mccoy is still here. Anez Cooper has a ton of starts; that was an eval they were confident on from the jump. Kelly just started the last two years at UCF; he wouldn’t start here but that’s not a missed evaluation.

i know the hate for mc is strong so facts won't matter ... but the staff is actually doing this the right way ... as the year progressed the younger guys are getting more and more burn ... injuries helped, but you see upshaw, moore, pringle, toney, fitzgerald, scott, #18, scroggins ... great job
Hopefully we have a QB but I like nickel. Reminds me of sam howell.

You forgot about #22 all on the field at the same time.
Now it's time for a freshman TE to step up.
Haha was just alluding to the WR, but yes, 22 as well.

I'll tell you what, Gilbert is tall as **** on the sideline didn't quite realize it until I got up close.

Hoping he doesn’t see himself as redundant with Mali and hits the portal. Really excited about Upshaw’s potential moving forward.

This is why I don't waste time thinking about next year's roster projection, given the landscape of college football and portal.

Ive seen Toney get ran down multiple times. Elite WR, quick, and so skilled for his age. I wouldn't call him a speed demon though. And nothing wrong with that either. Look at what X did in college and Toney is much faster than him
Not sure what games you have been watching. Toney has never been “run down”. When you play the slot you are always going to have to outrun an angle on a safety. That’s hard to do. But when Toney has been in a foot race he has won every time - see FSU.

Well that’s just not true.

Meathead gets plenty of credit for Eval and recruiting
Meathead is
Meathead when it comes to strategy and game day decisions

Leave it to Canesinsight to ***** about possibly our best freshman ever.

Where in the sam **** is anybody *****ing about him? He's the most impactful player we have signed in years. I think we lose minimum two more games this year if we don't have him. He got ran down on the punt return against SMU at the end of the first half. I was praying he scored cause we had been struggling in the red zone at that time.

Wow now that’s just funny. These takes are from people that simply never played the game. If you call Toney being run down by a player who was basically waiting on him, then I can’t with you. Watch it again bro and report back on this said run down.
