Give the kid credit for sticking by throughout all of this(for now) but leave the records out. It's very similar to a certain QB a few years back. Not tough to pad ur numbers when 95% of your completions are quick slants and bubble screens. Those boys that hold those records sure didn't get that benefit.

Ain’t no one denying that. Re-read my post. I acknowledge it’s more of a life time achievement award. Y’all old heads get so rustled when the “glory days” are attacked. Ain’t no one confusing Mike Harley with Reggie Wayne lol

I was talking about this with others. I’d never take Harley over any of them dudes he’s bypassed and they didn’t get as much time. Stacy Coley is light years better than Harley. No knock on him but breaking that record to me is ehhh

2020 @ NC State where Harley and King both had their signature games as Hurricanes together. I'll never forget Likens shaking Harley by the jersey as he was in tears after his game winner.
 
Every dude entering the program thinks they’re going to set records. He actually did it, and whatever the scheme or style differences, that’s a big deal for any kid, let alone one a lot of the geniuses on here didn’t want to take at all (I remember the buzz was he was too small and we shouldn’t take him and Thomas in the same class).
 
He and DJ Dallas are my 2 favorite players of the last 5 years. Team guys who gave great effort.
 
We yelled for one of those three Harley, Pope, or Wiggins to have the **** light come on… he’s the only one that legit woke up and seized his opportunity

Good job #3! I’m sure you’ll make some cash in the league and be successful after that because you put in work and leave the bull**** to the side

No, he’s not as talented as the others in the Canes top 4-5-6, whatever. He, Pope, and Wiggins were bad. But the light went in for Harley, he realized he needed to work hard to improve, and he did exactly that.

Happy for him to get that big TD to ice the game (sort of, after all, Diaz…).

The league don’t give 5 years to figure it out. They not manny Diaz. NFL cutthroat. If Coley didn’t make the chances for Harley are slim. He still has catching issues which is a major no no next level. We will see tho….
