Shouldn't there be some improvement by now......

Mario inherited a 7-5 team and not a 3-9 one. His results so far have been spectacularly bad. His coaches and support staff, his portal players, and quite a few of his recruits even w/ the late start. He owns this. Underachieving is an understatement.

This is the most overpaid, overrated staff we've seen at Miami thus far. Maybe they can change that narrative but as of now, it is what it is.

They are either terrible at developing players or "reading the room" with who's putting in effort and who's not
OR
They are scared to hold kids accountable, afraid they will transfer......or lacking the people skills needed to get them onboard to change their ways.

There is absolutely zero excuse, ZERO, this team has not improved AT ALL by now and continues to lay the biggest, most embarrassing piles of **** against garbage comp like MTSU and Duke. Flat out embarrassing. Nobody on this board will be able to convince me otherwise.

Young, Mallory and Hedley...that's it.
And I think J. Harvey has improved, but I can’t think of anyone else. This team is hot garbage.
I’m not going to be mad to see anyone on this roster transfer and there will be some guys that have talent that will transfer, but at this point I don’t care who it is, Garcia, Williams, Roster, Franklin, Don’t care, we need to flip the roster. And gattis needs to be shown the door on Monday, and Steele at seasons end.

The fact that nearly every returning player has basically regressed says more about the overall culture and coaching than it does about the roster. Every player cannot be a bad apple. Too many good programs wanted a lot of our guys.
This has been a recurring theme for 10+ years. Miami constantly has players regress from their freshman year to junior/senior year.
