A common theme so might as well post it: where have we improved in any specific area since last year? Overall, it's clear the coaching has failed thus far as we would on the entirety see some overall gains. But systemically this team almost looks worse than the lowlights of the Manny era.

What has actually improved in specific areas?

offensive playcalling-has regressed. Some plays are there to be made but why, with so mnay of the same players, are we so much worse, then?
QB-Both have regressed
rb-still fumbling issues for Knighton. Parrish has saved us. Bad luck with Citizen injury. Franklin? I give it an incomplete with the injuries but basically no improvement.
wrs-Outside of C. Young, they have regressed. Newcomers like Ladson and Young are the best guys while others besides Restrepo haven't developed.

TE-Mallory has had some good moments. Can say overall this position has improved.

OL-lmao
DL-Without Messidor and Jackson, two newcomers where would we be? There is talent here but who else has developed?

LB-Flagg sucks. Has anyone else improved?

secondary- we have a lot of talented guys that were recruited. Addae has been bad overall here. We have regressed.

Special teams?

What specific area has improved among the returning players on the roster?

No Running backs, no Oline no receivers, no linebackers, no CBs, no Safeties. If you didn’t know we didn’t have any of these coming into the season i dont know what to tell you. Also Manny did better with this group so its also on these **** coaches and first time coaches ok staff.

youre right GIF

Well your Manny comment just says we've regressed. Again, no matter your thoughts on the roster, we would have seen SOME improvement with returning players with good coaching. There has been basically nothing.

NIL is a catch-22: we need it to compete with the big bag schools.

But, the big bag schools have a more ingrained and recent winning culture while we're relying on our past reputation or come make us big again theme.

Once our guys get paid, they have no one on the roster now who can show them what that culture is relative to the more traditional baggers.
