Should we move Mike Smith to DE?

With Shack and Jennings we're set at MLB but at DE we only return JJ,DJax(coming off injury),Garvin,Patchan(TE last year and has already had 2 ACLs) and Rousseau who is way undersized at 225.If we miss out on Chattfield we will need major help at DE and Smith was a top pass rusher in highschool.

Might as well. He not good at LB. See what he got at DE and hope he didn't lose his ability to pass rush.

We need to just move Bethel and Patchan back. Smith is a solid 3rd string MLB. Add Chatfield and Chatman with Rousseau and that's plenty of talent to get through 2019 at the DE position.

Yes he was s dominant DE in high school, its his most natural position.

Patchan needs to be moved back. Dude was making plays before the injury derailed his coming out party.

umm..no. Hes the #1 lb in rotation. Hes severely undersized at de. Hes a better player than Jennings and will get more reps

Why move Bethel? That’s taking out one of our top DTs.
