Should we have recruited this guy back in 2003?

STEPHEN TULLOCH (Detroit Lions)

I know he's undersize but every team he plays on he leads in tackle and he made #63 in the NFL Top 100 players of 2013! IMO he shouldn't have been overlooked because of his size. If there's a different reason then let me know.

Yeah, you can literally do about 5 guys a year that get drafted from South Florida that we didn't recruit. Hindsight is 20/20

My wife grew up with him as kids. She always remembers him as having a runny nose...LOL His family and my wife's are very close and when he's home, he's always over for cookouts. Besides, he has the Detroit Lions eating TriniMike's.......booyuh!

Yeah, but it's not like he sucked in high school and became good in college! He was really good at Killian and shouldn't have been overlooked in the first place.

He obviously was a player in hindsight, but he is also like 5'10". None of the Big 3 offered. He went to the Fightin' Amatos when his other choices were Boston College and Pitt....not bad, but certainly can see that he was considered a fringey BCS prospect.

We also already had Beason, Cook and Highsmith as small-ish linebackers in that class, plus Gooden and Waiters.
