So many teams nowadays have two co-OCs: a passing game coordinator and a running game coordinator. With that said, the discussion regarding the opening at Miami has almost exclusively been limited to hiring one guy.

How do people feel about hiring 2 as opposed to 1 coordinator? Seems like this division of labor is a good thing.

GO CANES!!

# bring Alonzo HighSmith to UM. LETS GET STARTED

It would be nice to have an OC that has some understudies who assist in game planning etc. Richt and Enos had their system/play calling and nobody else that could assist in the game planning.

2 potential realistic options under our new head coach in 2021, who I assume will be offense oriented.

Stoutland - run game
Ken Dorsey - Passing Game

Diaz needs to call his defense because baker Ain’t it. We have seen Diaz call his defense the previous 3 seasons and it just didn’t look all that similar this year in terms of being agressive but not giving up the big play. We gave up the big play in too many games which again is uncharacteristic from a diaz called defense in Miami. He needs to can baker as well and get more qualified assistants on this staff AND call his defense.

This won't happen with Diaz.

I'm hoping that this delay in hiring an OC is indicative that Miami is waiting for Brady and plans on making a huge offer after the championship game ( I know its not )

Three. 2 for offense, 1 for defense.

Based on the last few years, it appears it is a waste of money to have any OCs at all. Use that money to hire a real ST coach and let whatever idiot is QB call his own plays. Could it be any worse?

Unless that OC money is enough to get our S&C boy back from LSU. Then ***** ST coach too and throw it all at Moffit plus whatever else it takes including putting gators in the pretty lake on campus for him to hunt for the down home feeling.
