do you think clemson isn't doing both?

YES .....but they have proven skills in doing both very well.

We are light years away from Clemson's competency in both.....in fact, as for games...., the more time we have to prepare for games the ****tier we seem to do

No one cares, work harder.

When the recruits are sleeping work on game plan. This staff loves their “me time” makes me sick.

ABC, Always Be Crootin', Always Be Closing.

But I will say this, a loss vs La Tech in this Bowl game could make it harder for us to sign any kids in February who don't sign next week. But a win vs La Tech could give the false impression that no changes need to be made & we don't fire Enox, which has to happen...

As weird as it sounds, it's a bit of conundrum lol... But whatever gets us to get rid of Enox & bring a Spread Offense to Miami is what I'm rooting for, if we lose recruits in the process, so be it.

I just want the "Pro Style Bro" to die for good from this program, IDC how it happens just put that God forsaken offense in the casket where it belongs & bring us into the 21st century please 🙏🏾
D E has got to go

This staff is is historically incapable of preparing the team during a layoff. Focus on the croots. Maybe we'll get lucky, land some studs and make appreciable staff changes after recruiting season. Everybody's got a dream.

🤔...

there is more to it than just "bring a spread offense to Miami" .. you need an OC than can coach, teach, and run the **** thing.

you could have the fastest car in the Daytona 500, but if you put a crosseyed monkey behind the wheel, you ain't winning !

Setting up the excuse for a bowl loss? Like Mammy needs any help in that area.

They were up my way yesterday in Crawfordville, I think recruiting the LB from Wakulla.

They might be but do you think a staff on a 12-0 team has to work as hard to keep the class committed as one that went 6-6? This season sucked, the coaches sucked, but if this class still stays top 15 that is a least a win.

I never root against family but if we lose to La Tech let it be by so much that Manny and staff are barred from the flight home and given bus tickets to anywhere but So FL. Oh, by implication get their rears fired.

1. A competent coach
2. See number 1
The 2001 team coached themselves...they said it publicly. Yes, a talented coach is a huge attribute but without talented players that play hard you aren't winning at the highest levels of CFB.

Well-coached but less-talented teams like KState (under Snyder), Wake Forest and Duke will typically max out at 8-10 wins in their best seasons. Cutliffe at Duke is a heck of a good coach but they were 5-7 this year because they just don't have the horses...particularly Daniel Jones (their previous QB) who was drafted in the 1st round of the 2019 NFL draft. Coaches get limited time to formally coach players in CFB so they have to be talented & willing to work hard.

Football fans are way too reactionary. Remember how Bill Belichick sucked a@@ as the Browns HC. Well, now he's considered by many the GOAT HC. Is he really a much better coach today than he was with the Browns? Maybe a little in terms of running the organization, setting the tone & communication but he is unquestionably perceived as a much better coach because he's had the luxury of having one of the greatest QBs of all time leading his team for virtually his entire duration with the Patriots. Guys like Brady & Randy Moss will make you look much better as a Coach.

Yes, scheme is important & many intangibles as a HC but you have to have great players (talented & hard working) to succeed. Recruiting is the #1 determinant of success in CFB.
