This same team with another coach is much better.. do this same thing with another roster with more wins
It’s a cop out for posters TO ME. This is far from a bad roster. And I don’t wanna debate it either. Coaching is 80% the issueI’m in the middle on all of this. I’m blaming coaches and players and believe this will be fixed over time. That said i won’t bite my tongue if I see god awful coaching and I do. As I’ve been saying this early in the season “ this is bad on both sides“.
I know why they do it and I imagine you do too. It’s a cop out for posters TO ME. This is far from a bad roster. And I don’t wanna debate it either. Coaching is 80% the issue
Yeah I do know why. Just a shameI know why they do it and I imagine you do too.

Hold on…I know the coaching is **** poor. There’s no debate there, and they deserve the brunt of the blame. but you’re telling me this roster, what we saw against Duke, what we saw last year, or even the year prior…making the same mistakes they’ve been making for three seasons…struggling against every ACC team, no matter the win or loss, it was always eventful in the wrong way…isn’t bad?I know why they do it and I imagine you do too.
they start on duke, middle Tennessee, UVA, etc. imo which is where we should be comparing ourselves to.Hold on…I know the coaching is **** poor. Woof. I mean 70% of those players I listed, I don’t think they start at a lot of schools we try to compare ourselves to. Some aren’t in the two deep.
what about the coaches that put the same players in terrible situations as did they for most of the season so far? its both, but you dont exactly endear yourself to a roster you refuse to listen to.I kind of agree. I feel Mario’s intent on toughening up this team fell on deaf ears. I think he thought with good intention he could accomplish this and at the same time give those chances to those who won’t work hard. and Yes it takes time to get to truly know your roster. Not using the portal more was a mistake he is now finding out. Great point. This bunch for who ever or what ever has quit on Mario. They miss the disco dancing camera mugging and the jewelry.

The OOS/non-SFL kids have been much bigger busts than the local kids
apparently SFL diva mentality. Parrish must have missed the boat on thatBut that doesnt help their point of ...SOUTH FLORIDA BAD.
Its always pick n choose with it too. lolapparently SFL diva mentality. Parrish must have missed the boat on that
I refuse the believe that it’s only Miami that recruits the “wrong 4 and 5 star” guys. It’s coaching and terrible scheme/play calling.
Long time. How long has it been plausibly accurate? How long have u, I, us been saying this? Real ?
3rd and long having Corey Flagg in a TAMPA 2

It just shows we don’t develop. That is all!! Ain’t no way in **** we just keep selecting the wrong guys over and over again!!Merely dropping this rankings (per 247) that highlights a majority of our players (or former players) that were considered blue chippers and what their rankings were coming out of high school. # indicates their national rank. Putting this here instead of recruiting because I think the main board needs to see it with their own eyes.

So here’s a couple points I want to make, and I don’t really think there’s a argument to it but hey, it’s CIS.
1. This might be one of the worst collective blue-chip ratios in college football history. There are an absurd number of busts, and of the handful of decent players listed above, some are now no longer with the program. 2019 and 2020, what’s supposed to be the foundation of your team…wooooof.
2. A fair number of these busts, or players not playing up to their potential, are Florida guys. And yet, we know Florida dominates the NFL. What does that show us? We’re recruiting the wrong ones, or we’re settling on 2nd and 3rd tied guys that are propped up by stars and don’t get developed in college.
For those that want to scream blue chip ratio and it’s all Mario’s fault, there’s your blue chip ratio. Look at the players, not the stars.
The coaches suck and are to blame for a majority of this season, but the writing is literally right there on the wall…
The players on this roster stink.
The OOS/non-SFL kids have been much bigger busts than the local kids
You sure? Idk just about S. Fla, but a lot of the blue chip Florida kids in general busted, or we’re just average (JAGS)But that doesnt help their point of ...SOUTH FLORIDA BAD.
Looooooooooong timeLong time. How long has it been plausibly accurate?

2018: Lingard, Nesta, Pope, Blades, Scaife, Gurvan, Reed, Ivey…that’s a majority.
2019: Payton, Keontra, Huff.
Harvey and Couch are good but nothing exceeding their star ranking; one could say they really haven’t played like 4-stars. Again a majority of blue chippers not cutting it.
2020: Avantae, Chantz, Jaylen, Don, Redding, Harrell, Roberts.
Jalen Rivers is our best player from Florida. TVD and Dunson out of state. Woof - bad Florida class, or in Don’s case - just not available. The best ability is availability.
2021 is a bit too early to totally give up on guys, but very clear the following aren’t playing up to their number: Taylor, James, Brinson, George, Seymore, Ishmael, Thad, McLaughlin.
I know both of you spend hours upon hours researching Florida guys so you’re invested - and I am not trashing you in any way because I appreciate all the video clips and breakdowns…but our Florida kids - they’re not good. Or at the very least…they’re not performing to expectations, and that’s through 2 staffs so far. Just calling a spade a spade - the OOS kids haven’t been exactly lighting it up either.
Luckily, the 2022 guys, while young…look promising (Wes, Kelly, etc.)
