Short and sweet ( positive )

The learn to win part of this ⬆ is huge. Winning breeds more winning. Unfortunately losing can do the same thing. When we were excellent and had Half *** u's number every year, it's because our dudes knew how to win. They didn't believe they could lose. Half *** u didn't believe like The U did. There's a reason for the wide rights and wide left

That reason is called "randomness". It's hard for humans to accept that a huge part of our lives (and sports is no different) is attributable to randomness. FSU has more often than not had elite kickers - it just so happens the few times they've had opportunities for game winners vs us, they had mediocre kickers.

We didn’t quit , fought the entire game. While having bad **** keep happening. Teams in the past would’ve rolled over and just said “ f it”.

That’s something culturally manny is focused on fixing.

So there’s that.
this. The defense has been under him for 3 years. has his personality. The offense needs to be de-programmed.

Do you see an OL we should be worried about?? After what I saw last night as far as our pass rush is concerned, included that in your scouting efforts t
I wish I had your confidence.
Their is no o-line i see in the acc that is all that great. Unc has some talent up front but will be interesting to see them with searles.

It wasn't like the d-line was bad. They were good vs the run. And as i said the lack of pass rush was because 3 of the 4 guys who got most of the snaps aren't pass rushers.

And we are missing that quick DT inside this year like a willis or mcintosh but you can work around that.

Like i said a few other times. When hill and rousseau start to get more reps the pass rush will improve. In the snaps rousseau did get he had 2 tfls and a sack. And he had another sack early in the game that he didn't finish.

Step up your game middle schooler. By your standards your come back game resembles Manny's coaching...

I’ll just troll you along to get that post count up. I mean you have a life but yet you have 2000+ posts in a year.

Facts. We got sh*t to fix For sure. We gave the game away due to too many mistakes ultimately but we stood toe to toe against and didn’t look overMatched anywhere on the field other than our oline blocking their front 7.

Ummm; that’s a pretty big area, don’t u think? Lol.

Also; for the fans that have been completely bashing Kaaya, did u see anything similar w Williams?

Are you guys even reading my post? The pass rush was awful , that’s supposedly our strength. And the scheme is built to get constant pressure.

The only pressure we got was franks holding on to the ball forever , he’s awful. There was guys open but we changed coverage to constantly make him go through progression , which he can’t do.

As 252 said “ hill and Rousseau will need a lot more burn”. Or we’ll get killed by real qbs. The pocket was there unless we blitzed.

That’s just facts , their ol actually gave him more than enough time.

He just sucks.
During the game day thread, Gogeta made a post saying Miami was doing a lot of obvious stunts to take away Franks running lanes. He made another about Garvin making penetration and then spying Franks. If that's the strategy, you're no going to get many sacks unless you have someone like Willis, or Wilfork or Sapp that can beat someone off the snap and make a bee line to the QB.

You may or may not like the style of play but it was effective. UFs running game was non existent and the only two passing plays that hurt us was the result of (1) numerous missed tackles and (2) Frierson getting beat off the line of scrimmage. Neither were scheme related.

There's stuff to clean up for sure but defense or their style of play was not one of the reasons for this loss.

I like Williams. Didn't seem rattled and when he had time his throws were on target. If he learns to get rid of it or just go to his check downs when pressured he will be a good one.

Totally agree, everyone on here for weeks were talking about the disadvantage we had playing two freshmen on line and now it’s a big problem. Smh. This team rolled so many times last year and the years before in a game like this. I hope manny keeps the pressure on them.

Per usual the fans overrated this team , we have huge issues at important positions. We’ll get better and grow but we can literally lose to anyone in the coastal.

We need this 20 class bad to infuse depth and talent , too thin and too many holes. With the depth issue it could get ugly with a few injuries.

It’s just being real. Nine wins would a nice season.

And that's all down to the HC.

Now, he can't rely on good will for long, but I think he's smart enough to fix things. Manny had an expectation of what our offense should look like and that wasn't it from Enos yesterday.
