Penalties??? Anyone that watched the game knows that wasn't the freaking issue. How about safety play? Or third downs? Or lack of offense in the 2nd half? Essentially, he's putting it all on the players. Never a game plan or coaching/scheme issue. Always the PLAYERS not executing Golden's BS.

I couldn't decipher anything else in the 15-minute interview. Started talking about the challenge in covering a seam route. Haha. It's pretty comical.

Agree
But the penalties were brutal. We were well on our way to an opening drive TD and an awful penalty had us praying for a FG. That IS on coaching too.

Well he couldn't blame the fans since it wasn't a home game and he doesn't NOTICE the banners. As he CONTINUES to throw players under the short bus him, Mark, and now Coley ride in, the WE United will go the way of all his earlier teams when they figure out WE means HIM.

No question but that is the first quarter. Let's talk 3 points in the 2nd half against a team that gave up 53 total points to Memphis the week before.

SPEED !!!! The Canes have ALWAYS been known for their SPEED !!!! Al Golden's Penn St.
background has destroyed our speed.

The reason we have penalties is because we don't have any discipline, the reason we can't cover or tackle on D is discipline. Where do players get their discipline Al? FROM THE FREAKING COACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Golden is clueless as to what really hurting this team, and how to help it!

He's really the most ethical football coach i know. Which is why a kid like D Crawford, Trent Harris, Kumala, Gall are in the game more than guys clearly more talented than them. Just because a kid sits up-front during meetings, and maybe tucks his shirt in, doesn't mean he should start! ***** that!!

Also, the problem is his philosophy. This Dude thinks that in 2015 - the most exotic era of X&O's ever - that you can sit there be vanilla, and just let the guys play, and who ever makes the least amount of false starts will win the game.

He's never answered any direct questions about the lack of in game adjustments.

Their coaching staff made halftime adjustments... While our staff comes in with one gameplan, and that's it. When it fails, he doesn't blame his staff's inability to counter the other team's adjustment...

He looks at the stat sheet, and blames it on a false start in the 1st Quarter

SMH!

The media need to grow some nuts and start calling him out on his bullshyt.

If this was Alabama, Taint, LSU, FSU, etc., he would have been directly called out a long time ago.

The media in South Florida are soft as baby ****. Joe was an NFL player. He should call him out to his face.

It's you Al, you're the problem. You've been the problem the whole time, some of us gave you time to turn things around, but the last 3 years has been all you Dude.

the holding penalty that called back Elder's punt return was a killer...but then we had penalties that took away TDs against Nebraska too. It's still a coaching issue if players are still committing the same dumb penalties over and over.

Well.....if a game between UM and Cincinnati comes down to penalties....then you Al Golden have already failed.

I have yet in five year heard him say "it was a bad call by us coaches" "we had a bad game plan"

No matter how anyone feels about the coaching staff...it's pretty obvious that the refs have been ridiculous against the canes...my feelings for the coaching staff won't allow me to brush aside how miami's players are never held but Miami players always hold...

I agree with you...lots of horrible calls against us this season.

However...that does not change the fact that Alfalfa is King Corch!
