In the interview I saw, she talked about how she had always planned on getting her degree but didn’t know when it would happen. But then when COVID happened, it had an impact on her and she decided now was as good a time as any and just went for it. I think that’s awesome and am happy for her.
I’ve told this story on the board before, but my freshman year at UM (1997), there was an elderly man that lived in Mahoney-Pearson with us. IIRC, he was in his late 70s, his wife had passed, and he had always wanted to get his degree and never did. He wanted the full college experience, so he lived in the dorms (single though ), had a meal plan, and was a full-time student. Everyone loved him.
The best time to go to college (if you want to) is when you can.
