Believe his buyout for firing w/o cause was 75% of the remaining money owed so it's likely $12-17 million at this point (3+ years of $5.5m/yr think there was $500k yearly salary escalator) which is a lot of money, but chump change to Michigan. Initial impression is they're not firing for cause to save money
