Sheldrick redwine invited to the senior bowl

Very likely he'll end up being drafted higher than Jaquan. He's really improved and has ideal size for the position

Well deserved. Should play a long time. Improved his stock more than anyone besides Willis.

How is our defense supposed to maintain 2018 level, given the losses of Willis and Jackson and in the secondary? I say we decline by at least a half yard per play, from 4.3 to 4.8. That sounds awful but still would keep us in the top 20 or thereabouts. This season there were far more teams than normal below 4.8. It was 21 teams. Very unusual. Normally that number is in the 12-16 range. Probably just a blip that won't repeat. Caused partially by the Pac 12. Normally there are 0-1 teams in that conference with a sub 4.8 defense. This year it was 3 -- California, Utah and Washington.
 
Very similar trajectory to R Jenkins, who is playing on Sundays now. This kid was an unsung hero on the defense, helped our DL on several coverage sacks this year.

We'll take a step back, but we should still be good. Big question marks are DT and depth at DB.

But remember our offense was ranked #104. With just a top-50 offense we could be in the 20-25 range on D and still win 10-11 games vs our schedule
 
I never really understood the criticism of him. As a corner he usually had good position the receivers just made great plays & as a safety sometimes he took bad angles but his aggression & willingness to stick his head in there was in my opinion admirable.
My favorite player I really think you can absolutely win with players of his caliber.
