Shavar Manuel's size?

Mario Edwards was a big lard at fsu. He did nothing and was overhyped. If Manuel plays like him ... Fsu can gave him

And that was being generous because nothing in his play last year or his postseason workouts said he should have gone that high. The Raiders are banking on the fact that they can get his weight down and the light will finally come on for him. Which if it does, you have a pro bowler on your hands. If it doesn't, you have just another guy taking up a roster spot and will be out of the league in 3 years.

As far as Manual is concerned, unless something has changed with our scheme, if you think he is coming here after seeing what we did to Chick you are really setting yourselves up for failure. We MIGHT be able to attract a JACK type recruit...but unless CThomas can make that other DE spot look ****, you can forget about getting a high profile recruit to play it. We got luck with Chad. And I am still holding out hope that the scheme has changed.
 
Edwards played really good his soph year then didnt put in the work this past season kid went toe to toe with former auburn LT Cam Robinson
