Anybody got any info on the kid? how much of a shot do we have to land him?


I see both Golden and Richt offered him, so seems like our dual-staff can both agree that we want him. Also I know we have a recruit at IMG with him now that our TE has transferred there so that’s a positive.

All websites I have hint toward the kid being a nole or gator other than this espn article (that I can’t see)

I don't have any new info but I can tell you Manuel is a big time prospect. A month ago I would have said no shot. Hiring Mark Richt changed all that and I would think we would have a decent chance to convince him. Hiring an elite DC certainly wouldn't hurt either.
 
Asked him if he has heard from coach richt since he went to miami. He said he hasn't heard from him yet. Asked if Miami has a shot to get him on campus if they reach out m, he said "yes sir, they would". He has taken his OV to Lsu already and has visits lined up to U***, FSU, and USF. Sounds like with Muschamp gone Auburn is out of the picture. Pretty much a u***, lsu and fsu battle unless richt can pull a miracle. But if he gets him on campus crazier things have happened. And with all the coaching changes throughout the country who knows if position coach shakeups will continue to hurt certain schools.

HOnestly we had a great chance at first but between J Rock & Golden he was turned off......... J Rock has a long and vast history of khock blockin.. but Im gonna laugh when he winds up at an SEC school and not FSU
 
We never really had a chance. With richt I suppose we have a slightly better chance but that percentage is like 3% (up from 0%)
 
Recruiting analysts are saying he had a bad senior year. Hes not devoloping as thought from his junior year. Rivals took his 5 star and dropped him 150 spots.

yeah i think i'm alone in this boat but i did not see a 5 star player's tape when i watched his highlights. not to say he can't develop but did not see enough talent to warrant this hype right now.
 
Business says you gotta go after this kid hard. There is still a chance if they can get him on campus, but you gotta believe since he's highly sought then he knows where his decision will be by now?
