How the **** did a simple question turn into this **** show? Shaq was said to have torn his labrum in the FSU game, I realized he played the rest of the season, but simply wanted to know from someone closer to the program if he was going to need surgery.

For what it is worth, I tore my labrum weightlifting a couple years back. I didn't need surgery, some people only need some therapy; however, it's obviously is dealt with on a case by case basis.

That's not true. It was discussed during the season that these type of injuries are re-evaluated and surgery can be decided upon later. It's been less than 2 weeks since the season ended. I suspect a surgery would have been scheduled for last week, but perhaps he just needed to be re-evaluated by the team doctor first. Either way, I don't think it's insanity to ask if the issue was resolved.
