First off, have always loved his mentality. He isn't going to go down as one of the greats, but he's a wonderful ambassador for our program.

However, I'm not gonna lie. I felt kind of bad for him when he put on the Turnover Chain and stood up on the bench at GT and started pumping his arms?

Like, "bruh..."

I love Shaq. Given our list of all time greats, he probably falls more around the DP level. All defensive players today suffer from playing under today’s touch football rules.

Lol. Why did you feel bad for him when he got the turnover chain?
 
Once we lose 4-5 games, the chain should be retired for the remainder of the season. Just like no TD celebrations when your down 4/5/6 touchdowns.

I love Shaq but he is not on DP's level, more like Darryl Sharpton, Jimmy Gaines level etc. Perryman made multiple game changing plays during his time in Miami, Shaq has just been solid so far. All 3 linebackers should be back next year and McCloud may have a difficult time keeping Finley off the field next year though cause Finley has balled out this year.
 
I absolutely love shaq as a person and agree he is a fantastic ambassador for the program. There is really nothing not to like about the kid and you know he gives his all day in and day out. But after seeing him his freshman year I thought he would be a much more dominant force as an upperclassman then he has been this season.

The turnover chain was great and revolutionize CFB again. To bad we can't backed up in the field. Time to close that chapter
 
When the likes of Webster...Barrow...DP hit you...all foward motion stopped...Not too many missed tackles with them...

I get your point, but how can you blame him for trying to pump the team up?

No where near perryman. He was a finalist for the butkus and one of the top LBs in cfb his jr and sr year.

It’s pretty corny when we are losing. I was tired of it a little sooner than others. I got sick of announcers acting like the chain has magical powers, and if it would only show up it would lift our team to victory. It’s a dead gimmick now.
 
Maybe the next evolution of the chain will literally be a car tire with "U" spinners. Players can roll the tire back and forth after turnovers.
