Lol. You may be too young to remember, but Urban Meyer used to coach at Florida a few years ago. I think he had some success there.

Muschamp also won more games than Golden too. So, uh glass houses and whatnot... Just saying.

Very condescending response. Urban has been gone from UF for 5 years now. That would be considered "years" in college football. He had a lot of success there...in 2009. In the last 5 years, they have been 37-26, we have been 35-27. We also beat them head to head with our ****** staff. Tell me again how they are so much better than us? We are both average. At the very least we still produce some NFL players that actually do ****. And we don't lose to FCS teams at home. Spare me with this bull****

Nice of you to take 5 years as the arbitrary data set for your argument. Luckily these kids can't remember UF winning championships when they were in 6th or 7th grade, Oh wait...

Also, How does playing for Miami, instead of Bama, Florida. or FSU guarantee a better NFl career. that is one of the dumbest arguments I've seen on here. What does Ed Reeds generation have to do with an Al Golden coached team?

UFs problem is just on offense. Look at the stats, they have had an elite defense every year under Muschamp. he is gone, but you can't pretend defensive minded prospects aren't attracted by that success and defensive style. That defense was fun to watch. Take your head out of the sand. They were 4th in FEI D this season, UM was 32nd.

Way more NFL talent the last few years on defense too. Easley, Bostic, Elam, Floyd, Fowler is a likely top 5 pick, Vernon Hargraves will be a top 10 pick. (Yeah I know none of them have made 10 consecutive pro bowls yet, so they are all busts that should have played here...)the defensive talent that Muschamp left is better than Goldens. Look at their roster.

McElwain could be the next JimBo, or the next Derek Dooley, another Muschamp or a Mark Dantonio, but recruits know for sure he isn't Al Golden. UF at least has a new vision to sell, and like all Saban coaches he will have an aggressive defense.

I think him and amhad will decommit at some point, and truthfully i don't think shaq dad really want him at Miami, if golden gets fired hes most definitely gone.

I express what i think... its Shaq's decision not mine... I was shocked when he committed to Miami... i thought he was all AU....i think Darrion is a huge factor for him

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you and what you bring to the board. I have been following recruiting going on my 8th season and I can't remember having a legit, top 100 prospect's father come to the board and give his take and offer some insight into a hectic recruiting world. I hope you continue to post and tell us what you and your son think. That said, if Shaq ultimately decideds to go elsewhere it is going to be a big fat uppercut to the nuts because of the exposure and insight you have allowed us to have with your son. I hope he sticks. He is a monster between the lines and has been a class act in the press/social media/etc. That's rare in today's recruiting landscape.
