I wish there was a way to shut this board down. It is absolute F'ing disgrace. Good for Shaq's father for not posting or being on this site.
 
Yeah I'm not going to assume the guy that was most solidly committed here is gone until he actually says he is.
Even if Golden is fired, he's likely going to wait to decommit/recommit until we get a new coach.

Shaq is not going to de-commit under any circumstances. He's more solid today than he was when he committed. He's been to every Cane home game this year and plans to come to the Clemson game this weekend. That's saying a lot, because he drives all the way from Jacksonville. To get a better handle on Shaq's recruitment, I suggest you READ HERE.

He's been to every Cane home game this year and plans to come to the Clemson game this weekend. That's saying a lot, because he drives all the way from Jacksonville. I agree with not starting rumors as we don't know anything and his own dad came on here and stated that he's committed to the school, not Golden. But let's also not speculate and say he's never going to decommit. You never know nowadays.

How is that trolling? I asked a legitimate question based off things I continue to read in other threads.
 
If he does come here is there much doubt that he probably starts from day with as bad as our LB corp is depth wise? Pretty good incentive to come to Coral Gables.

I don't know, Young looked good in limited duty. If we stay with a 3-4 would be nice to move Grace back to the weakside and allow Shaq to play the middle next to Young.

It's clearly on Golden way more but in this day and age of social media and the way people interact with it, it's irresponsible and silly to think that fans, at least a certain type of fan, don't have an effect on a recruit or his family, friends. Overall we should be free to ***** all we want, but keep it in your head that what you say CAN have an effect...that's all.
 
I am excited to see this kid on the field. I did have a question about our linebacker corps. Does Shaq project as an inside LB in a 3-4? How about a 4-3? Seems like he is more of a MLB for a 4-3.

How about Charles Perry? Which position is he best suited for?

The idea of continuing to run a 3-4 with our current LB situation makes me laugh out loud. That's why I know Al will continue to do it. We finally have better linemen than we do backers and we still run this nonsense.

He better take his own advice. Remember when he started out, he referenced the "jimmies and joes" instead of "Xs and Os"? Don't turn ill-suited players in LBers just to play a scheme that hasn't worked out here...please...

95% of the **** on here is unreadable but I take everything with a grain of salt. I routinely begin reading post and pull back once it gets out of hand.

I agree, we are a 4-3 team based on what the roster has. With the depth issues at LB right now we should be switching to a 4-3. I'm hoping the new coach brings in a 4-3 base alignment.

There's no speculation. His dad specifically said that Shaq would only have a couple weeks to decide where he would go if Golden were fired because Shaq is an early enrollee. Even an idiot would know that means it's not likely Shaq stays if Golden is fired. It would take a homerun hire to convince a stud within a two week period. And i highly doubt UM pulls a homerun. Admin isn't trying to drop $$$
