I’ve always said hes been Miamis most consistent linebacker the last 3 years and still stand by that. People always talk about lack of speed but he sure didn’t look slow on several hits on cam Akers last game or their qb. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him test better than expected tbh.Shaq has in fact never really had a bad season.
Hes a starting quality lb. He will get drafted late. I prefer speed/athleticism at the position, and I'm not high on him but I could never call him a bum or bust. Hes been productive.I’ve always said his been Miamis most consistent linebacker the last 3 years and still stand by that. Shaq has 72 tackles 10.5 tfls through 9 games so far. He should easily be over 100 tackles threshold this year which he has only been at around 83 tackles or so on the year.
Possibly of his career. He was outstanding!Best game he's had this year IMO.
they broke not only their will to win, but their will to play. that's what Jimmy Johnson said a few years ago at a speech to the team (re conditioning), "making cowards of them". that's what Shaq did, he made Akers a coward.CAM AKERS BASICALLY QUIT. REWATCHED GAME AND IN 4TH QUARTER YOU COULD NOTICEBLY TELL CAM DIDNT WANNA GET HIT ANYMORE.
I’ll be the first to admit that lately, I’ve been hard on Shaq, simply b/c I think he has all the potential and have not been living up to it. He went from playing fast & downhill as a TF, to playing not to make mistakes, which caused him to make mistakes.
Now, these last few games, he’s playing the way he once did. I see way more urgency and intent to lead! I’m here for it. I criticize when it’s due & I praise when it’s due. Shaq is becoming the Shaq we expected & I hope he continues on this path, not just the next game, but for his entire football career. He can be the next really, really good LB at the next level. He’s showing me something.
I'll take him on the gmenHe's a dominant run defender on the inside and struggles going sideline to sideline. He'll need to go to a 3-4 team with athletic outside backers next level. But he could shine in that scenario.
I'll take him on the ravensI'll take him on the gmen
