Joe Jax, Pinckney, Shaq all ain’t coming back

Hate going on a negging spree but I disagree with all of you guys. Shaq’s biggest limitation is in coverage but Wisconsin threw the ball like five times all game. Yes, he overran a counter that resulted in a long gain, but for the most part he didn’t have the tackle numbers because he was taking on the lead blocker to allow someone else to clean up. He was smashing into linemen and fullbacks so Jaquan, Redwine, Pinckney and Finley could make tackles. In some cases they just didn’t.

We would be very lucky to have Shaq come back for one more season. He’s an outstanding player.

Shaq gives you 100% every play but has no instinct or vision as to where the correct gap to hit is. Could be poor coaching or poor film study or he is just not a natural at that position.

How does the starting middle linebacker have only 6 tackles when the opposing team has 58 carries. 58 mother ******* carries and our MLB has only 6 ******* tackles and only three of them solos.

In a 4-3 defense the defensive line impacts the MLB play. If the front four are not forcing double teams, offensive linemen can easily get to the second level in which they have all the advantage. A 245lb is no match for a 6’5 330 lbs tackle

This. As much as I love Shaq, I saw at least a half dozen plays where he could have easily made the play and just simply got himself out of position and in the wrong gap. Maybe it was good scheming by Wisky, but honestly he just looked lost a lot last night. Though by no means is this L on Shaq or any of the D. Theres not a defense in America that can hold for 4 quarters when they are given little to no break and short fields every **** time due to quick turnovers or punts by the offense. Same story all year.

For those bashing the D, that score could have easily been 35-3 at half if the D didn't hold over snd over.

the D got thrashed a few times this year by anyone w a pulse (BC, GTech, Toledo, and now Wisc). we saw the same D get thrashed through the air by Hornibrook when he isnt good at all. theyre a good defense but not elite by any means. we faced a lot of bad offenses this year in a down conference and obviously the abortion we have on offense doesn't help

Wisconsin runs a pretty nice caveman offense. Lots of counters and key breakers. As stated Shaq got caught up in the wash and at times got lost. Very good player, but he struggles when he cannot play downhill.

Because he was PUNKED and PANCAKED and put on his fat *** and backside at least FOUR TIMES last night. SQ didn't want any of RB Taylor. This Taylor is NASTY and MEAN and all that.
