He comes back his senior year to help anchor a young team when could have made millions in the NFL...

Putting his health and NFL career at risk...

His defensive team didn't give him the back up he needed to be dominant because he was trying to cover for a lot of weaknesses all over the D.

Here he is again-- risking a potential NFL career to play the bowl game for his team...

If we had 80 guys on the Canes with this level of commitment to the team-- we'd be contending for 'Ships every year.

Mad respect for this guy regardless of his Canes stats and where he goes in the draft.

Orange and Green blood-brother!

It's shameful that he never got the coaching and support he needed in order to be the best he could be. He has limitations, but I think he never reached his full potential. He's the kind of kid coaches dream about, and Diaz managed to waste it. I'm not shocked though, Diaz is all about flash, he doesn't play the long game.

Shaq is the epitome of what a true Cane is to core. I also wish he had better coaching so we could have seen him reach his true potential.
ALL Canes take notice and work and dedicate yourselves like this young man! If you don't, won't or can't, please leave the team.
Good luck to Shaq!

Yes, indeed! #55 probably has solid parents. The others quitting on the team are losers! Garvin, Pinckney, Thomas and anyone else who doesn't play as they wait to be a third day draftee or undrafted! Pathetic!

I’m shocked this thread almost made it to eight posts of positivity before the trash showed themselves. We almost had a classy thread for a sr player that gave everything he had.

There’s just a population of miserable people on CIS whose only game is negativity. I think of them as mosquitoes— annoying as **** but ultimately meaningless.

i cant even judge this kid for being out of place all the time because its the whole defense thats like that. he'll stick around in NFL with the right coaching

Didn’t get to #2 without negativity

I agree with you Crib but I believe in constructive criticism. I admire Shaq for sticking with the Canes and keeping his head down and working, but I can also say that he’s an average player imo. It’s a shame that he has ****** coaches but it is what it is. With that being said, I f*ck with Shaq 💯

We all know the criticism , it’s been posted to nauseam, that’s my point. Why can’t we have one thread to appreciate a four year starter that left everything on the field? I knew it would only be a few posts until the scum bags ca out.

I’ve been around a lot of fan bases and ours continues to set the bar of trashiest.

Btw average players don’t put up those type of stats for four years. He’s a good play thats super smart , but lacks in twitch and acceleration. He’ll hang around the league and make some money.

Leave out the negativity.

He left it all on the field, great young man and will better his career.
Thanks for everything and doing it with class, Shaquille Quarterman.

I don’t know why this is so hard , decency is completely gone man. Was he an all time great? No but dude play his *** off through injuries for four years. He’s more of a cane than anyone on this board.
