Shaq & Pinckney at Shrine Game

Its crazy that Pinkney sat out his last collegiate game just to prep for the shrine bowl. He isn't even on the radar to be a possible day 3 draft pick barely
 
I wish nothing but the best for them. What’s crazy is these guys started every game for all 4 years and I think Shaq was the highest of them at 11th all time in tackling. You’d think not many guys ahead of them played as many minutes as them either.

Could be a situation where he wasn’t academically eligible but still was able to graduate like Tyler gaulthier the bowl game the year before, that could be a reason but who knows

I didn't watch it either but a couple clips posted of a Cane is a good thing imo.
 
Players who had good weeks but still have one lingering question that can get answered in Saturday's game: Shaquille Quarterman, LB, Miami: He's really instinctive and was around the ball all week long, but in the one-on-one drills he looked a little slow; it was the knock on him coming into the week. If he can answer the speed question and check that box, you really have something with him because he was really good in every other area.

Our LBs and defense in general was trash until they got here. With one or two exceptions our LBs (and defense as a whole) was trash until they got here (yes I know coaches/system made a difference).

Remember how we felt in 2016 when Grace was suspended for the season + new DC? Thought that would be the weakness it had been for years. It was an instant strength. Those 3 (honestly liked the D better before the 4-2 was the base) were amazing improvements that played like canes and deserve only respect.

For the other problems this team has had and even the defense as of late they get a ridiculously disproportionate blame.
