Are our OL sans Cici athletic to pull and lead block on counters and toss plays like my Birds and how Stoutland coaches his guys? Or is Mario/Mirabal that dumb and oblivious to the fact that you can actually have your OL pull?

We absolutely have the hogs to pull. We also have the hogs to use wider splits.

The tight splits we use are a disrespect to the Oline. You only use tight *** splits when you lack talent. Our guys can hold up 1 on 1 at the point of attack.

I am afraid the Louisville DC Ron English knew what play we were running based on formations. For example, if we lined up with no backs in the backfield, Louisville would show pressure and we would run a WR screen.

My hats off to the Louisville coaches on both sides of the ball. They were prepared. Now, let’s see if we can learn from this and move forward. We can’t afford to lose another game if we expect to make the CFP Playoffs

And on the flip side, Brohm spent two weeks rescheming plays and formations. He even developed a new set of plays for the 3 QB formation that he calls “three amigos”. He talked about it in his post game interview. He said the intent was to make the Miami defense have to think rather than react to the usual…. Pretty clear who wanted the win more
