Seriously - Fvck ESPN

ESPN is a political news outlet now. If we march or kneel, the injustice police will get us top billing.

I saw that and laughed. Thinking the true Tennessee trash can is Butch Jones.
 
Stop crying. There was a line on the ticker saying Miami dominated Duke. You go to their website looking to complain. What other reason would you have to go there these days?

At the same time people are crying about ESPN, they are also begging for Game Day to be at our games.
 
I don't watch ESPN much these days, but they certainly used to be a much better station years ago. They used to have highlights of so many more teams, inside the Top 25, and out of it. Now it isn't uncommon to not even see the entire Top 25.
 
The four letter network has just gotten stale. It is the same stuff that they were airing 25 years ago. They cover the teams that make them money and get ratings.

When the Rays turned things around in '08 and won the Pennant, several players like Johnny Gomes refused to speak to them or give interviews because of the way that ESPN used to rip them. For example, Steve Levy on-air said he 'refused to show the Devil Rays/Royals highlights because no on cares'...but in the next segment they did an interview with Ice Cube (in July) about the state of the Lakers...$$$.
 
LMFAO at anybody who pays any attention to ESPN, especially after 2007 when Sean Taylor died. If you've watched ESPN in the last 10 years for anything other than live sports or the UM 30 for 30s, seek mental health counseling.

Only problem I have with them is that it's become a talk show more than a highlight show like in the past. But since other platforms like YouTube, Facebook, etc where u can get your highlights at anytime, I see why espn changed their format.... Other than the talk show ****, I do not dislike espn like others here. Don't like what espn is saying or not saying.... Why watch or go to their site?


Edit:I get your point about NBC... for the life of me I don't understand why they suck notre dames **** so much.... They haven't won **** in 30 years and yet the wack *** domers still has their own channel...

They STOLE that game 30 years ago. Cleveland Gary did not fumble! (unfortunately, all of the networks cater that program)

Havent been to ESPN's website since they gave Bruce Jenner an ESPY and ignored the girl with cancer who played high school BB until she died.

Jeezus you guys are so sensitive. WSU/usc was a top 15 matchup. Ours? Not so much

They are not experts, just people giving their opinions.

I think that was a mistake though b/c this was posted on the Duke page prior to the game. Coincidentally, the same %s just with the teams reversed.

It wasn't a mistake, the computer thought they'd win and that's fair. The problem is that the computer wasn't working with equal amounts of data because we'd only played 2 games. Espns own people were mostly picking Miami like everybody else, but the numbers said Duke had an advantage. Let's get over the idea that the model is biased. What is biased is espn's coverage of Miami. Two different things.
