Serious Question.

#1) weird analogy with the body sculpting thing. do less.

#2) I think the lack of on-field maturity and grasp of the playbook is as much Richt Jr's fault as it is either Kosi or JW. Looking at the team from a 3-4 year perspective; Rosier was a veteran QB in terms of understanding prep, practice, and game knowledge. Then you have Kosi & JW come in, receive garbage guidance. And now we're seeing the result. Enos should be able to find the best QB to play and he should also help improve all 3 QBs.

I asked someone on the team who they thought was the best qb they said williams. Ahmon richards said on a podcast he had not been to any practices this year but he basically thought williams was the real deal.
I've heard several people say that he has the highest ceiling amongst the QB's, but I haven't heard that he's the "best" QB. It wouldn't shock me if he ended up as the starter, because he has the skills to get it done. I just wonder about the "maturity" issues that keep getting brought up about him.

If he has maturity issues, that can improve with the right mentorship, coaching, and life experience. Half our fanbase was ready to write off Nkosi (some still are), but several players, coaches, and reporters have spoken to Nkosi now being one of the leaders on the team. That's a major turnaround! I'm hoping Williams figures "whatever" out because he is a huge value to this team!

In Enos we must trust. We all would love to know all the details of the QB competition. But the bottom line is we have 3 talented QB’s in the running and which ever one wins the job, Enos will have selected the one that gives us the best chance to win. That’s very encouraging for me.

It will be Jarren that finishes behind Tate but it doesn't matter bc he's transferring to GT.

All of the Kosi fans must have came from the Jarren bandwagon

Are we talking on the field stuff or off the field issues? I can't speak to his maturity or the lack thereof, but the topic seems to surface everytime Williams is the subject at hand. I would love to know what is holding the kid back, because he seems to have a great skill set. Your opinion is one that I put value in, because you've shown yourself to be a true Cane, who doesn't have a personal vendetta against any of our players.
From what I’ve heard it’s a mix of both, accountability being a big part of it without getting too in depth, and this comes from several different people. I wish them all success and have no dog in the race, but from the sample size I’ve seen of Jarren, he’s the best of the bunch when he’s on.

Regarding the bolded point, that seemed to have been an issue that Richt had with all of our quarterbacks (most notably Rosier) that stunted their growth and productivity. I forget where it was mentioned, but Rosier was able to do the same thing, but Richt would get ****ed because he didn't throw it to who he was "supposed" to throw it to. I'm assuming it caused the QBs to start overthinking things and making mistakes and throwing inaccurate passes.

Had they been allowed to throw where they were comfortable, we may have had some much better results, even in a prehistoric offensive system.

Richt rather play the QB who couldn't hit his first, second, or third checkdown - but rather lose than play - or at least TRY - a QB who was just getting it done - completing passes - even if they weren't the completions Richt wanted.

I swear . . . and did frequently.

d rev low pay attention to someone who was actually on the roster

Much appreciated, and thanks for the use of discretion. I'm picking up what you are putting down.

I have been talking about him today in the other QB thread. I am high on Williams. According to one of our defensive players, he has looked very good in 7 on 7 workouts, but obviously you can't put too much weight in 7 on 7 workouts, the same way you can't put any weight into the a couple of plays during the spring game.

I believe that anyone who is discounting him from being a factor in this QB battle, is making a huge mistake.

Second this.

I doubt Kosi is the starter. I can see Williams transferring. JW showed his card and Manny knows it. Kosi has great physical skills. But not a leader of elite men. Manny is assembling special elite forces on both sides and needs a Captain who can lead the charge. Takeover. Be the guy. Enos may lean Kosi but I think Manny is all in with Tate.

I thought Kosi lead pretty well when he lead us back to beat FSU seemed like his teammates did too. Yes lead us to 4-2 as a starter and yes he was very inconsistent with his leaderships skills on and off the field I agree but It seems he has matured this year too on and off the field though so we will see.

Disagree. If it wasn't for Redwine causing the turnover that led to a td and Pinck interception that led to a td, UM loses that game. Defense stepped up and saved our necks.
