a whole bunch of hype about progress with no results. it feels very similar to golden. im taking golden over richt. we had a real oc under golden and offensive staff. lil jon thomas brown, richt, and sears is an offensive staff? worst power 5 staff. this loss feels like Clemson that got golden fired.
Richt is not getting fired is the only difference. after that loss fans and players gave up. see no difference there either.

This is extremely disappointing

What do you think Golden's record at Georgia would have been? Serious question.

Goldens offense, Richts defense.

Btw does Richt only get half a paycheck since the offense is nonexistent.

Since this is a "serious" question, a quick comparison. Golden never won the Coastal, never won a bowl game, and had the worst loss in program history while here. Richt won a bowl game at the U for the first time in 12 years in his first year and won the Coastal in his 2nd.

Look, Richt has definitely regressed here in year 3, but compared to Golden, he's Lombardi.

This isn't an apples to apples comparison as Golden was handcufffed with sanctions. If Richt had the sanctions, the results would have been no better than Golden, especially considering how poor Richt is performing with no sanctions.

What if Golden had Diaz as the DC? We had an explosive offense with Fisch under Golden's tenure. Also, when comparing Golden to Richt, you have to remember Golden had the NCAA mess/sanctions. That was an enormous hurdle. I am not saying I wasn't overjoyed when Golden got fired, but I think he had a tougher environment than Richt. Richt came in with no sanctions and was a well known entity in the college football world. He had no handcuffs when recruiting.

Both men will suffer the downfall of stubbornness. Golden had dorito while Richt has his son, his playcalling, and Rosier.

Al Golden lost games because of he coached scared. He was trying to implement a system that didn't work, his players knew it and gave up on him.

Golden hired this man. If u can watch this & come away impressed enough to hire him, Golden is your guy. If not, you have your answer.

(Count his number of "uhh & umm")

coach diaz is the reason not richt and #12

richt has been more successful at being the runner up. golden was trash also. just saying it feels the same as it did with golden. if winning 10 games and the coastal is goals for you then we Back.

I hate this theme that keeps surfacing in here. NO to Golden and Richt (system). Are we seriously that deluded that we're actually compartmentalizing the Golden (fool's gold) years? C'mon man, we're better than this and THAT. Stop looking back and comparing **** with shirt with pieces of corn in it. WE need to look forward and towards a system that works (OC, QB coach etc.) or a whole new Miami regime that knows and wants to do what it takes to make it a real Miami team. Period

Lol....Maannnn...Goldens 2013 UM Team would Beat the MFing Brakes off this team....It wouldn't even be close...

We won the coastal his 2nd year, we gave up playing for the ACC Championship because of the sanctions

I mean who really cares, its the coastal
