We all know he is full blitz happy. The question I have is...

Do the players get benched or sat for a few plays if they don't follow orders on the play?

Like the end of last year and clearly last night. LSU saw some of our blitzes (and the loaded side it was coming from). audibled , yet our players did not adjust? Basically we showed our hand, they see it. They adjust, we still go through the same motion?

Are the players not seeing this?

Or is it if they don't continue with the Blitz , Manny is sitting them ?

A lot of that has to do with the defense needing checks just like an offense does but if they aren’t given checks based on how an offense looks then what do you want them to do?
 
I know a lot of you guys are much better at details of football than I am. I have learned a TON of stuff from this board. A ton.

But even my girlfriend, who is a Badger fan has said it twice now, She saw it again last night. "Canes are not adjusting to the audible called on your safety blitz".

Like I said up top you can’t do anything if you have nothing to check into.
 
Cant believe Shaq or Pinc at this point cant make an adjustment on defense if the Offense obviously audibles to counter our blitz etc...

Dudes are 3 year starters now and know this system since they stepped on campus
 
Ok, I get that. I think.

Who does the check on the field. I think? It's the middle LB , no? He is the field general.

Ray Lewis on the Ravens did it all the time. He would pull Reed back, or Reed already knew. Granted they are both GOATS.

Looked like JJ checked with Manny when the QB called the audible, and Manny told him to stay. Hard to tell from the tv, but that’s what it looked like.

So, it is probably Manny. Which is what I thought.

He needs to adapt, so does Richt.

I know several dudes on this forum ( when he was hired) said Manny is Blitz happy and has players out of position because of it.
 
Half the time Manny isn't even blitzing, after watching last nights game I am 100% certain players just fill gaps to fill gaps. No rhyme or reason. Players like Pinck and Shaq aren't reading and reacting they are just going. It's a feast or famine defense. Any team worth a crap has done whatever they wanted to us on Offense.

This is what I see/ and saw.

We have talent and strength. But still out of ******* position often! This staff, and last staff.
