Can't he see the changes we've made?!!?

Im a bit confused.. Perrymen and Dorsett were featured and did quite well for UM? Chick is a better example.

You are confused bc u are a moron.

No team with this many elite prospects should EVER BE LAST IN THE COASTAL DIVISION AND UNDER 500.

God we have some real **** smoking fans.

Ahhh the ol' internet tuff guy. Again there are two arguments here. Canes have had a lot of talent but went 6-7. Correct, of course. Thats inexcusable. Im talking about the comparisons to Chick being miss-used and suggesting the same for Dorsett and Perryman. Both were well utilized based on their skill set. Does that make any sense to you?

Dorsett should have been a 1000 yard wr. Perryman would have looked even better in a better scheme. You 6-7 with a bunch of talent then it's obvious the talent is being misused somehow.

Al golden showed up at his intervention with an anerrexic male personal trainer with fake ****. He sold 3 used cars that day. Him and his buddy went to New Jersey.

I gotta agree with sevenben. If you wanna use the "misuse players" argument then you can't put Dorsett and Perryman in with chik because those two are the few players that were used to their abilities. Now if you wanna say how can a team lose 7 games than you can put Perryman and Dorsett in with Chik.

The coaching staff should be blamed for the misuse of talent not the development which I think they do an excellent job at, the players in particular all put in work and for the ones talking about Swasey these players and previous player can't stop coming back to him.....

This must be the "progress" that Al and his staff made.

The "cloud" must have kept us from seeing it while they played at UM.

I feel better now.

We get it that the team should have done better but the point is that Perryman and Dorsett really shouldnt be "surprise" senior bowl performers. Both of these guys did MORE than their part for the team this past season...thats all.

Actually PAR, this scheme was ideal for Perryman...its designed to keep the LB free to make all the plays ( although gt figured that out). I actually think Dorsett could have been used a little more...feel like he got kinda limited to deep routes.

Naw, actually this year I seen dorsett run a more variety of routes than he has in the past since he has been at Miami. The narrative doesn't really fit dorsett to be honest.... His freshman year he wasn't in the rotation like that, sophomore year he had over 800 receiving yards, junior year he missed more than half of the season and had nagging injuries. Had just over 250 receiving yards for that season. Dorsett in 2014 had over 870 yards 10 touchdowns. That narrative that golden can't develop talent doesn't fit dorsett, Duke, perryman, flowers, feliciano, gunter, armbrister, walford. They all performed extremely well at Miami and got better ever year.... I know we all don't like the man but we have seen players like burns, elder, bush, grace, Kirby, Kamaula, dobard, edwards, Gadbois, just to name a few and a host of others improve since they have gotten here. However it does highlights his deficiencies as a horrible gameday coach . How do you lose 7 games with this talent?

Ryan Williams - MVP of his Senior Bowl Game (Did not play after he healed up when Kayaa was having a hard time)

Denzel - Shining. execs sayings he's too short to be that big but that's ok they'll have him drop down to 230 where he's supposed to be

Dorsett - Shining. Execs saying how the **** was he not all conference

Gunter - Shining. Execs drooling over a rare 6'2" 200 pound corner.

Chick - Shining. Ececs are all over him right now.

6-7

You guys are out to lunch. And LULZ at agreeing with an fsu troll.

Perryman excelled somewhat at UM because he is an incredible talent. He's a top 10 in the draft type of football talent. You could see how special and explosive he was the minute he stepped on the field as a true freshmans. And he never really looked any better than he did as a freshmans.

He played in the same **** scheme and philosophy as the rest of the guys, so to claim that they used him well and taught him well while not coaching anyone else up is retarded.

Think of Perryman as the genius 150 IQ kid at a really bad public school. The bad school didn't make him a genius. In fact, if he stayed there for any length of time, his genius was likely undeveloped and squandered.

We wasted those kids careers...we're on the way to wasting Kaaya's. 25% of it is already out the door and I wouldn't blame him one bit if he left after his 3rd year to get away from this **** show.

Dorsett had 36 catches in 13 games.. That's less than 3 per game. (251 other receiver had more) He had under 900 yards receiving despite 51 other receivers having 900+ yards. Watch where he gets drafted (despite small frame) He was extremely misused. Same with Denzel. Not one season in the top 40 LB's in total tackles. All due to scheme.

I would have loved to see how good he could be in a real defense.

He would have been in our top 5 all time at LB. Instead, all he heard was how he wasn't this guy (insert former great UM LB) or that guy the whole time he was here from the ****** fans bent on making excuses for their hero Folden.

Exactly. UM fans have gotten so used to UM corches not getting much from players that they think 36 catches from a guy with Dorsett's ability is maxing him out.

I'm sure they feel we did a great job with Stacy Coley this year too.

I watched the film of Dorsett and I really think he can fly up some draft boards. The offensive system in place here only made him run seam patterns. Once he begins to utilize the whole route tree in his workouts teams will come running after him. If he plays well here and in the combine and his pro day he'll be no later than a second day pick. So many teams need a kid of his skill set and it will show as he skyrockets up draft boards.

Haven't read this entire thread, but Dorsett posted some really good strength numbers before the season started as well.

It's absolutely maddening. the kid was an absolute stud from day 1. He's going to be a draft steal for someone, especially once his skillset is exploited in an attacking 4-3.
