If he had the measurements (6-4+ and 260+), he too would be a first rounder. Best thing for him is that he did some drop back in coverage so it definitely shows he can play OLB. Either way, he’s gonna be 5+ guy in the nfl.

Everyone knows you learn more in three days of senior bowl practice than three years at Temple and a year at Miami. I mean Miami’s coaches are so Bush league, they’re only going to have two first round defensive ends this year.

while i agree that the senior bowl coaching topic is absurd, crediting UM coaching for phillips (top player in country in Hs, went elsewhere then transferred here) and Rousseau (athletic prototype who played one season here) seems like a reach. who are you crediting for their development? stroud, who didn’t even start rousseau early last season?

The comment was mostly tongue in cheek. I’m not really a “development” guy anyway. Most of the best players would be good no matter who was coaching them.

Besides Roche, I was really impressed with David Moore (Grambling) and D'Ante Smith (ECU)...Smith was givin' Roche the business. And Marvin Wilson looked like hot garbage.
