With anyone else we're taking a chance. Everyone else will go through growing or adjustment pains and as everyone knows ...we're impatient, and hate pain.

He's the only one that can instantly satisfy this fanbase .....only like at Bama our fans will have to contribute some $$$ to help pay for his salary beyond what the University can pay....hopefully that goes over more smoothly than giving $$$ to the IPF.

Want to win immediately?....that's without a doubt the most certain path....anyone else will require restarting and living with some pain for a while

Recently re-doing the Super-Bowls greatest blunder by not running Lynch from the 1yd line AGAIN was stupidity amplified!! i now hear he's considering making other roster changes. :eek:

My 1st move as AD would be to allow Richt to submit to me names for OC by the end of the regular season. A list of 5 names if possible, and they need to be someone outside of his tree. I would personally have a list of about 10 guys that I would start private contacts with as early as next week during the bye. Should Richt decide a change isnt needed, and refuses to comply, then I know he needs to be phased out and I will start to phase him out a bit. His son will be removed and some one like Jedd Fisch will come in to take over the offense, perhaps even named HCiW. Manny Diaz wont be allowed to leave, I would pay that man any amount to stay and might even consider him as HCiW. An OC, forced or otherwise before the bowl season would happen if it were up to me. I will not let Richts ego hang this team out to dry. I dont believe in letting someone have enough rope to hang themselves, and thereby my program.

Shannon and Rich had top 10 recruiting classes. They have had plenty of players drafted and in the NFL. Shannon was a first time coach. So thats what happened.

Peterson cant win in the worst power conference. And he is basically the only show in town with Oregon in that whole region.
He is an excellent coach but would be eaten alive here by pretty much everybody.

Richt isn't going anywhere. Bring in Art Briles and have a press conference showing Richt baptizing him in Lake Osceola. He's now been saved.
