I'm on it. Definitely a glimmer of hope.Matt Campbell, Iowa State - check out what he has done with 1 star talent everywhere on his roster
All good - just a little fired up. Have wanted that guy here for 2 years.Drunk bro forgot the "wouldn't" as in wouldnt have lost tonight. Fat fingered it. I hear you though.
Great candidate actually would be leaving his current job for a better job. Actually plausible. Would have to call up Carol Soffer to get another big check to afford Richt buy out. They resigned him again didn't they? All good - just a little fired up. Have wanted that guy here for 2 years.

My question is would he be stubborn and hamper his alma mater like he did with Georgia when it comes to coaching staff? I get it he wants to prove something. The only positive about this loss is the honeymoon is over. Tough question will be asked and tough decisions will be made.Unfortunately, Richt is the best we will ever have in the foreseeable future. His contract was just extended and there is no way we can afford the buyout. Our budget is larger than was made out to be a few years ago, but still is smaller than the average upper-tier P5 program. Most of all, firing Richt completely destroys the trust in this program that is just starting to come back that was gone so long. How would high school coaches or recruits react to another long and tiresome coaching search; having to start all over again.
Tonight, we’ve seen more fans come after Richt than any other time throughout his tenure. This criticism is deserved. But here’s the thing...
You cannot fire him. Period.
Administration CAN force him to change the staff some (hire an OC, replace Serles, etc) and hopefully that will force some changes. Small (small at least for us) changes will make a difference. It certainly would’ve changed things tonight.
So that’s the deal. Not an ideal time for any of us but we have to move on.
