Semifinal No. 2: Indiana vs. Oregon

The only good news is if end up losing to Indiana we are probably guaranteed number 2 in the final poll (I don't see an argument for anyone else to jump us for that spot). If oregon had won and then beaten us in the finals, I think Indiana could have jumped us at 14-1 vs 13-3.

This is Indiana University…they have been laughingstock of the BIG10 since I can remember.

Cig is building a football factory using older experienced players from portal.

Cant argue against that concept. Looks like they have a serious Defensive Line too. They seem over aggressive on pass rush….sure would love some RB screens this game 🙄🙄🙄 Dawson, lets put a few middle screens to burn this pass rush please.
Its a more installed version of our defense.. Hetherman was CO DC with Haines for a few years working under Coach Cig.. Its a great defense and they get after the QB, as you can see Hetherman is all about that.

I got my orange & green glasses on bro don’t mind me, they are a good team fasho but I’m not shaking in my boots about having to play them. I think if we limit the dumb **** we will handle em physically like we’ve been doing.
For sure, we got to play clean and pressure Mendoza. Our db are going to struggle, especially with the injuries and Lucas out. No turn overs either

They are athletic, it doesn't make sense but they are
They have the oldest roster, full of portal guys who have been competing at this level for 4-5 years. Thats grown man strength, NFL level physicality. Most 18-19 and some 20 year old kids can find difficulty pushing 23 year old men around.

Indiana is a collection of talented grown men, but relatively few legit future NFL players. Miami has grown men as well, with a few of those guys being dudes that will at the worst have a cup of coffee on Sundays, some will likely be legit players at the next level. That's the one thing about IU that people ignore. Cigs relies on experience and these guys are old as ****(For a college team). That said, the only way you can have a team this incredibly old is if you don't have many guys that are legit NFL prospects.

If Miami doesn't turn the ball over, we stand a **** good shot. IU rolls teams that are sloppy with the football.
Yup. I noticed that the Ducks had two TO's. Hoosiers capitalized on each. Ball Security is paramount.

Are you watching the game? Lol.. They got athletes..
They have experienced guys that know where to be and they execute. Are they plodding? Of course not, but I'm not seeing the twitch and quickness that you see from guys like Toney. Indiana relies on teams turning the ball over(They have to have one of the highest + turnover ratios in the last 30 years), and not making mistakes. They are well coached, but if they had the athletes you believe they do, they'd have more legit NFL prospects and they don't. The NFL drafts athletes.

**** it let us play them the second half keep the score the same like some Scenarios ****

I love what’s happening right now

Just another unbeatable defense/unstoppable offense/best team blah blah blah

It’s always a lot of talk until someone plays us

I want blood
This will be the toughest team we’ve played all year and it’s greatly due to coaching. Obviously they have some studs too no shade there. If we can play clean we have a solid chance. Uptempo has been our cryptonite on defense and IU doesn’t do much uptempo so that will bode well for us. We need to get healthy and SEC refs

One thing that may help is that Indiana/Cignetti will attempt to run it up, I doubt they call off the dogs until the 4th quarter. So there is still the chance for a fluke injury (although hate to have the mentality of wishing for injuries).
