Semifinal No. 2: Indiana vs. Oregon

I would play the same way we played the 1st half against Ole Miss. Tight man preas coverage and get pressure. Do that and Mendoza will be under 70%. The throws won't be as accurate if you force him to move or run for his life.

That and we also weren't full press to get up the field. We weren't playing meet you at the QB like we have been. There was a concentrated effort to set the edges rather than get up the field while maintaining a solid front. We wanted to force everything they ran outside and swarm tackle them. We lost gap integrity on that long run, they executed it well and that was the only real damage done on the ground.

Lost in all this is how grossly incompetent the committee is

We had to beg to be included and now proving we belong

The committee botched this and thought Oklahoma, Alabama, Oregon, even Texas Tech were exceptional teams and give them rankings and seeding they didn’t deserve

My fellow fan, IU is really, really good. That doesn’t mean we can’t beat them. But it’s s mistake to put so much emphasis on recruiting rankings. If that was what mattered, OSU and Georgia would be in the NC game.
nowhere did I say they aren't good. They are.

We are the more talented team (Go watch the NFL draft this spring) and we are 7 point underdogs. Pretty lucky scenario to find ourselves TBH. We have won a few Championships playing as underdogs to lesser talented teams.

We could actually be playing a great team like the 2019 LSU squad with 3 NFL HOF players. We are not.

Indiana are where they are largely because they’re very well coached..we are well coached AND uber talented , should be a great game. Let’s go canes
