Seems Miami Hurricanes QB N’Kosi Perry has matured in offseason

I agree with most of what you said. I do believe that missing class is a sign of immaturity, but thats not a knock on him. I believe that a 19-20 year old can act like a 19-20 year old and still be successful....The initial comment I replied to was a guy saying he's not buying spring reports of maturity, he's pulling for Jarren. Seemed off to me because I grasped from reports and interviews that Jarren needed to mature last year and he's shown more maturity this spring. Sounds similar to me. Maybe I'm just crazy. Full disclosure: Jarren doesn't hang out in my living room and I've only met Kosi 2-3 times.
No arguement here

I read this article earlier this morning as well. I loved the fact that Perry took accountability and showed remorse for his actions. That's a clear example of maturity within itself.

Whether or not he wins the starting gig is a small matter in the bigger picture of life. The young man made dumb decisions and he is learning from them, while simultaneously being under the spotlight of serving as a QB at The U.

Realizing that he has to be a man first and a football player second was a big step in the maturation process for him. I don't think it's a coincidence that he has now shown a lot of maturity on the field this spring.

What's not mature, is a bunch of grown *** men on a message board hoping for him to fail!
Well said! 👍

So by immaturity you mean the fact that some people say he checked out when he knew he wasn't gonna be allowed to compete? My personal take would be hes a mature kid who was dealing with adversity that caught him off guard. He came here feeling he was gonna have a legit shot to win the starting job. Once he saw it wasn't an actual competition,he got depressed. Could he have selt with that far better? Yes absolutely he could have. As I've told him many times regardless of what the staff did,he did himself no favors. He missed classes,he fell asleep in A meeting. When he decided he was gonna transfer he missed one meeting that same day when he went to submit his papers. Luckily that was something cmr was on top of. The lady who does the paperwork gave cmr a headsup saying he had to sign off on them and he came down with lil Johnny to talk him into waiting. Maybe that's deemed immaturity. Not for me though. He now understands fully he needs to do his part period and let everything and anything else be in the coaches hands.
Gaining weight and not staying in top shape is a sign of immaturity on his part. Checking out is immature as well, no matter the reason. With that being said he should be immature, **** he's what 19-20 tops? As long as both N'Kosi and Jarren have learned and are now working hard and doing the right things then all things are forgiven by me. By all accounts we have a room full of hardworking and talented QB's so whoever wins I'm cool with.

It also helps having Dan Enos in your *** win you **** up as opposed to Jon Richt. Attitude reflects leadership!

Wouldnt care in the least what Malik says. If I got bored and decided to poste on here voice messages from Malik and cager how often they'd be begging me to get all of them into a club or a party at puffys house and comp them bottles you'd simply say no wonder he always looked lost hes simply drunk. For him to constantly be chiming in now with his dumb *** sister he should've done alot more to lead by that example as he was gifted that opportunity. I always crack up everytime I remember his old boy trying to fight our entire fan base at the lsu game last year.

Football was just never a priority for Rosier, it is what it is. It's really too bad he couldn't hit the breaking stuff...

In all fairness, Id fall asleep too if I had to listen to lil Jon. I kid, I kid

I was so scared that Richt and Junior had broken N'kosi. I'm really glad he's seemingly gotten things straightened out. I know he had some head scratchingly bad throws last year but he also had a few beautiful dimes. His arm talent is upper level. He makes a lot of throws look easy.

This may have been the protocol in the past. That sh** is over.
Do you really believe that Enos would put up with that nonsense of "he just looking simply drunk?".
He is on their *** on EVERY play, and it is all business.
May the best man win, but Coach Enos is not going to BEG anyone to get with the program, with compromised behavior patterns.
Everyone either be on their game, or go jump to the closest portal. We already are signing new studs so, the games are over.
Let's get real.
May the BEST man win, and go out there and win us some games........we need that.

Huh?

Broke him?

LOL

If he’s that fragile, he’ll never handle the pressure of being a P5 QB.

No, he’ll be fine.
