See you kids in the basketball forum.

Careful. The basketball team underperforms, for the most part, in years where we have pre-season hype.

Their best years are when we come out of nowhere.

On behalf of the people that actually cared about Miami basketball before March of this year, NO THANKS.

Don't need that toxic nonsense around the hoops program.
You don’t have to worry about that, Senhor. Many of our faithful football fans somehow shapeshift into Chapel Hole/Dook fans during the basketball season. It’s inexplicable really, but that’s our fan base. It’s usualmente something like, “…well, MJ is my favorite player,” or…”I got into hoops when UM didn’t have a pro’grum,” etc.
In any event, you should get to enjoy UM Hoops in relative peace on this me board as those aforementioned fans will be badmouthing Ole Mack Goblin Brown and how we’re going to drag our nuts across his face on the road next Fall, etc.

There's ONE year in which Miami underachieved compared to preseason expectations(L usually overachieves with his talent), and that was the Lonnie Walker/Bruce Brown year and no one could have guessed that Lonnie would spend a good chunk of the season injured, and once he finally got in the groove, Bruce would suffer a season ending injury. Even then, that team made the tournament, and lost on a last second shot to a team that ultimately made the Final Four.

And Walker had the worst 2 basketball minutes of his life to close out the game

It wasn’t toxic before last March when the board wanted to fire Coach L every second, denied the impact of the Adidas/FBI situation and bagged our players and staff?

I believe we’ll find some **** stirring experts on all 3 sports boards 👀
