I hope more is said about this. Refs were fair. Best called game I’ve seen in years. now no doubt the refs made a big mistake when they called a roughing the passer when Reed flopped. But on Toures hit, they didn’t stop play to review for targeting like you KNOW the ACC refs would have. Even if turned out to be a legal hit (it was) they would have paused the game for 5 minutes and basically given the Aggies 2 full timeouts in a row to plan their next play.

I will have to say I thought this was one of the better ref'ed games. They really did a great job of keeping it fair. Fact is anywhere in football today, they will call that roughing. Fact is NFL or college after the ball is released if you even breath wrong on the QB they call roughing. In my opinion they have neutered the game. But it is what it is. Great game by both teams. As Nick Saban said "miami is one of the most complete and "dangerous" teams in college football". Today they showed why.

It's one thing if a player is ramped up emotionally and goes a little over the top, but
that dweeb has no business talking that nonsense and potentially getting us a stupid
penalty in a tight game.
