What changed on Defense besides the safeties coming back.

Miami generated DL pressure and got some sacks early...

feel like we played more press... stopped giving that ten yard cushion.. the free short throws really got the back qb into rhythm early.. that was a huge mistake to hope kid was going to make a ton of mistakes early

Players were upset, began freelancing and bringing heat. When they made a play they were removed. Look at Toolbox. Got a sack, was taken out for the rest of the drive.

But honestly I don't know the real reason.

Bush made a big hit on the kick off and didn't see the field afterwards

Haven't watched it back but I swear to God the slot guy had to be open on every pass attempt in the first half.

Defensive line played more agressive and had constant pressure in the second half. Night and day....

It helped that Cincinnati was playing like they had a 20 point lead. Conservative runs on 1st and 2nd, passing on 3rd down.

2 nd half Pressure? lol.
Besides trusty Trent's bullrushing And finally making a difference in the game, what pressure are you talking about?

Yall cats forgot what constant pressure does to a Young QB!
Ask jerome Mcdougle and Andrew Wiliams what they classify pressure!?

Have not watched replay of the game but it seemed like we went from that pathetic soft Zone No D and Folden run, and switched to more of an aggressive man coverage scheme...

The defense has been ok alll year. Dominated Nebraska for most of the game, and turned it on against Cincy and FAU in the second half. The glaring weaknesses are on the other side of the ball.

Which is most defiantly the play calling. Sometimes it feels like we do every thing right on a great designed run and then shot the bed on the next two plays. Joe Yearby is or saving grace clearly.

FOH! If NU ran that playground offense they came back with the entire game, we lose. Cincy beat us with a playground offense. And miss me with that "second half" crap, they scored 27 in the 1st, the damage was done.
