Second back in this class

[The Dude Abides]

Who are the names we are looking at? Do we take from portal. Knowles . Pringle could bounce. Fletcher will be gone….. Any names?

[Bpayne32]

We need another high school back and a transfer. Lyle, Pringle, and fletcher are gone and only god knows what brown will look like when he’s back

If Lyle didn’t leave after 2025, why would he leave after 2026?

I can see a portal take and a flip later in the cycle. I’m sure we take two backs.

[The Dude Abides]

Luke would leave because he is not playing

There’s zero need for one: portal or HS. We have a third year back who just ran for 104 yards on 11 carries and got no snaps against Clemson. We need to keep the guys we have in the room, see what Keys got, get Marty healthy, and keep it pushing.

Because he thought he was going to be number 2 which he was before the legal issues. It’s now or never for him he’s gotta go somewhere else to get drafted

Lol what?

Restfully disagree with that logic— Layla is a wildcard I’m not sure his dream ever comes true- and he hasn’t done much to warrant a big fat stack of cash from some other team
Pringle- he’s outta here the day the portal opens… Katie bar the door style…

Fletcher will move in…. Cha’mar brown will be working his way back— who knows what that looks like but I love that kids fight….

So exactly why wouldn’t we fortify the RB position again????

[Hobokane]

* respectfully

[skeeter]

I would expect us to lose 2… if we lose 3, you definitely go after a portal RB.

[dycane]

Taking a second back would be a tell. If we do, then Mario isn’t convinced Lyle sticks around.

[Dwinstitles]

Do everything you can to flip Spell bruh, Lyle and Pringle may dip tbh. Mallory is a real back who has great vision and is big enough to break arm tackles. The reports of Congdon Mallory and JJ in spring were spot on. I believed all of those reports they just sounded different. Maybe we can hit the portal for an elite RB if we do not land another
