SEC slipping?

Yeah, I’ve seen the gator talking many times about how them and other mid range SEC teams would win our division annually and it would be them and Clemson every year for the title.

NIL I think hurts SEC overall as a conference more then it helped.. we all no they were always paying players, especially the top ones. Move whole families, getting them jobs and cars..

But now.. it’s a even playing field.. so besides Bama & UGA.. I think the rest of the conference will start to suffer in the wins/talent department.

Just my take..
 
SEC is a dying *****.

CFB is always, always cyclical. Bama loses 2-3 games, Saban retires, etc. Eventually it'll be UGA and everyone else, and UGA has only been playoff-good the last handful of years.

Not saying the ACC is the next big deal - honestly the concept of conferences in general is fast becoming passé - but yes, IMO the SEC will be starting its downhill run very soon.

It hurts Bama more than anything. With NIL & Lincoln Riley they can't just waltz into California and snatch a Najee Harris or a Bryce Young any more.

There’s still one Giant left to topple over...

I’m praying either Ole Miss or Tenn can get the job done during the regular season...

But if not, hopefully USC can fulfill the contract & get rid of’em.

I don’t think UGA is close to as good as last year but their schedule is pathetic. There’s not many loss possibilities with that schedule.
 
Auburn's HC crying about having to play a game in Cal (they've only played 4 games in California ever).

The SEC has had it all it's own way for far too long.
