SEC-SEC-SEC!

Forgot to add 8-5 Missouri who also did not beat a team with a winning record. Both Missouri and Tennessee were ranked throughout the majority of the season. All part of the Ponzi scheme to give all the other mediocre SEC teams “good wins” on their resume.

The SEC is also 6-7 against the ACC with no chance to be better than .500 pending our game against Ole Miss, which I expect us to win but I don’t want to get too over confident

“Should” and “will” are two very different things. Just because we didn’t get screwed this year doesn’t mean anything’s really changed.

SEC playing 15 less G5 games means more losses and levels the real SOS. A 10 win Miami is getting in because their won’t be nearly as many 12-10 win teams with more p4 v p4 games played. Statistically speaking, the SEC would have 4 less than this year leaving them with 3 or 4 total. The ACC would look similar to 2025 as most teams played 10 p4(including ND) games while the SEC only played 9.

Now if you are arguing that 2025 Miami wouldn’t get in over 9-3 OU, 8-4 Bama, 9-3 Vandy, 8-4 Texas then I guess we will need to wait until next year.

Yeah, I was way off in my first post saying minimum of 7. It’s most likely minimum of 10 again and possibly 11.

It's all good.

Sometimes a person just has to step back and admire how massive this "SEC is the best, it just means more" conspiracy has become.

One conference had FORTY PERCENT of the pre-season Top 25. TEN teams were ranked, with TWO OTHERS "also receiving votes".

That means in a SIXTEEN TEAM conference, the sportswriters felt that 75% of the conference coulda-woulda-shoulda been considered among the very best teams in the country. Regardless of the fact that math and statistics should tell us that only 8 teams would likely finish with a winning conference record. In reality, only 7 SEC teams had winning conference records, while 2 others finished at .500 in conference.

It's ri-god****-diculous...

I think that Greg Stankey was named after his finger.

Yeah - that one he keeps "you know where."

Either that, or The Stanky Leg...

Yup that was pretty much my point. We’ve seen the committee reward sec teams with worse records over others and I don’t see why that will stop. As long as the sec and b1g run the show they’ll keep prioritizing their teams over others with fewer losses.
