SEC=overrated.

All you have to do is think about where Duke would be in the SEC lol.

The Duke that took Texas A&M to the wire in their bowl game last year, back when A&M was a better team than they are this year? I'd say they would do ok.

That's what they said about Missouri and TAMU. Even when this idiotic theory gets proven wrong, people continue to regurgitate it. I'd absolutely love to see Duke play one of these "top 10" Mississippi teams in a bowl game.

Proven wrong? How so. Is the idiotc idea that neither team improved? That the SEC was easier?

Missouri doesn't look so hot this year. Or TAMU. Neither is exactly wrecking house. TAMU annihilated Oklahoma in 2012. They peaked right as they left the B12...and some cat named Manziel showed up. Mizzou always has a decent squad every five years or so. That dude can CoAch.

Come talk to me when the SEC starts laying eggs in meaningful games. Then you can chirp about conspiracies and biases if they get a pass. In the interim, keep rooting for FSU to beat them, by all means...

Missouri went 10-2 and was in the SEC championship last year and has a pretty good chance to do the same exact thing this year. Missouri never outright won the Big 12 yet has almost won the SEC in 2 seasons now and is about to possibly get their 2nd chance in 3 tries.

And they monkey-stomped a B12 team in the bowl last year. Is your point that that the SEC is a lesser conference than the 12?

They've beaten UK and Vandy by 10 each and a down USC team by 1. Go ahead and think that success means the SEC is weak. Feel free. But if you're one of these posters who'd rather see FSU beat Bama or MSU, just so you could crow that the SEC is overrated, I advise you to go have the intercourse with yourself.

'Almost won the SEC twice'. For ****'s sake...

What makes the $eC so mighty, this yr? Alabama, LSU, Floriduh, Georgia, A&M, USCe, etc, lost their starting QB, or are still looking for one, and they aren't as good because of it...why are they the best still?

Alabama got all they could handle from West Virginia - no reason another top Big 12 team wouldn't be able to do the same.
Auburn got run all over against K State - Aurburn won but anyone that saw the game knows K State out played Auburn
LSU needed a come back to beat Wisconsin 28-24
Miss State - nobody to play outside their own conf
Ole Miss - nobody to play outside their own conf
Kentucky - nobody to play outside their own conf
Florida - will lose to F$U
Arkansas - nobody to play outside their own conf
A&M - nobody to play outside their own conf
Tennesse - Ran over by Oklahoma
Missouri - Lost to Indiana
South Carolina - Almost lost to ECU - will lose to Clemson
Todd Gurley beat Clemson - helped make Georgia look like a possible contender early

You're missing the point. It's not that the SEC is weak, they aren't. It's that they're overrated. People make them out to be so far above and beyond everyone else. The Missouri example proves that's not the case. The SEC is still the best but people go overboard and give them way more credit than they deserve...i.e. overrating their teams in the polls.
